Great location and wonderful host. The apartment was also lovely and we were very comfortable. Highly recommended and will rebook! The room had a mouldy foul smell which was unfortunate.

We stayed just one night but was perfect for us. Very close to the train station, comfortable and clean. We left our luggage before the check in time. Recommend!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location might seem a little challenging at first, but the ease of access to both the train and bus stations was really convenient. Alessio was able to give useful advice when needed, but you need to catch him in the mornings, as he’s generally not around at other times. If you like sweet things such as croissants and pastries for breakfast, you will find it to your liking. We don’t and were left with no alternatives apart from pre-prepared sandwiches and a barely adequate supply of fruit. Moreover, should you prefer to return to the B&B in the evening instead of dining out, you will not be able to enjoy a cold drink in your room, as the small fridge in the room is almost useless. Alessio admitted this was a problem, but was unable to offer a solution. I suggest that a short term solution would be to provide a small communal fridge in the breakfast area until such time as the fridges in the rooms are replaced.

They have a nice terrace

Beautiful room Getting our luggage up the stairs was challenging— but we are old!

Alessio, the owner is very friendly and open. Helped us with any information we needed. The last day he allowed us to leave the luggage at the reception desk due to late flight back home. We stayed in the room opening to the back of building, so it was quiet. Room and bathroom was modern and clean just as we like it. Not necessarily negative. Breakfast is delicious, but for the five days we stayed, it could maybe be a bit various. Also the time of breakfast, for us, is a bit late (8.30), because this way we start the day late to visit places or to catch a train to some other place.

Place is a bit far from center. Didn’t feel very safe walking in this neighborhood at evening time

Location is perfect, everything was within the walking distance. We loved the celling, felt like living in a castle. Breakfast was amazing, especially the pistachio croissants. Shower's wall was a bit moldy, but that's kinda common for the Sicily. Floor is super cold, we suggest bringing slippers or flip-flops.

Perfect accommodation, really clean, friendly host always happy to help. Stayed for 4 night in total and it was just perfect. Close to the city centre, on street parking available, very comfortable bed too...highly recommend it.

the property was very very cold. the heating wasnt on the first night and it was veryyyyyy cold! and was on the next day after complaining only during the night. and most importantly the location is awful. didnt understand how it was ranked 9. dont recommend at all.

Nice location and very friendly host.

The owner was friendly and willing to chat and give advice. The location of the apartment is good because it is close to the train and bus station. The apartment was very nice and very clean. The owner took care of the details when furnishing and renovating it. The breakfast was plentiful enough, and the owner also offered delicious tangerine jam, which he made himself. Even after you have to check out, you can store your luggage in the apartment if you have transport later. We were not bothered by anything.

Everything was exceptional.Super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the pastries were amazing The host was really friendly and was available for any advice or suggestions on where to visit . Would definitely stay again if I returned to Palermo and would highly recommend Nothing to dislike

Clean, decent location, good price The lights were all a very unpleasant white. Makes it feel like a hospital! Would advice some nice warmer lights.

Spacious room with everything we needed for a comfortable two night stay. Bed was large, air conditioning worked well. Double glazing kept out noise from the street. The Wi-Fi worked and the shower was good and hot. Good storage and a fridge that didn’t buzz. It was clean We were given a warm welcome which included excellent recommendations of places to visit in Palermo. Location was close to the colourful, thriving Ballaro Market. Due to close proximity to the bustling market the street outside the property was full of traffic. You’d be very fortunate to find a parking space during market hours: 0800 -1600. After that parking became available and the street quietened down. We loved exploring this part of Palermo but it is a warrens of characterful alleyways and back-alleys. It was safe and friendly but on first impressions the neighbourhood does look a bit run-down. Make sure you have Google maps or similar because although it’s fun exploring it was easy to lose track of how far you’ve wandered.

Very nice room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Lovely continental breakfast on the balcony. The location is only a 5 minute walk from the train and bus station which is handy and a 15 minute walk to Quattro Canti in the historic centre of Palermo. Unfortunately the streets around this very good B&B are very dirty with a lot of rubbish and dumpsters.
-
Really well located lodging if you come into Palermo by train or bus. On a street leading to the main sights, so easy to find one's way around. There is a shared, cool terrace overlooking the courtyard.
-
Everything was perfect. Maybe not the best spot in town. Nevertheless great experience. Fully recommended
-
Clean New bathroom Great location Secure Breakfast was poor so we didn't get it and went to eat outside

Spacious room, small hotel which is cosy. Bit noisy, shower is small, breakfast isn’t included in the price.
