GiaChi Friendly Rooms

The location of the property was very good, right next to the train station, perfect for day trips. Many hooks to put towels and space to put things in the bathroom. The owner was very nice. I liked the beautiful high ceiling in the room. My room was unfortunately not clean at all, the surfaces, the floor, walls with large stains and especially in the bedroom was not cleaned. Only the bathroom was cleaned properly but there was black mold in the corner of the ceiling. The mattress was so uncomfortable, you can feel the springs of the mattress it hurts in the back. The door had a big gap even while closed, so you could hear every movement and every talk of the hallway and the kitchen, which is directly next to the door. From the streetside the noise was not to bad but from inside especially with loud neighbors was impossible to sleep. Unfortunately there was also a cockroach in the room which made my stay very uncomfortable. It needs renovation and more cleaning.

Bathroom was on outside of room, no elevators for senior traveling with us. Area not great. Homeless sleeping over right outside our hotel door. Keys were not easy to use. Had no electronic key pad to enter. No smart TV in room for Netflix.

GiaChi provided us with a nice, clean and comfortable room with a balcony. Considering the perfect location of the hotel and the exceptional hospitality that exceeded all my expectations, I would highly recommend it!

Nice clean room, location was walking distance to bus station, which was great on our day of departure. Water was very slow to drain in the shower.

Perfect location exactly opposite train station, very clean and with coffee/tea facilities. Lovely host - let us to check in before 2pm as we arrived in Palermo really early. We really enjoyed our stay. Brilliant and fast communication. Really great pizzeria next to apartment, we had our dinner twice there Nothing, everything was perfect

Great location. Some of the other guests were quite noisy at night, but that’s not the owners fault ?‍♀️

The main thing is the location, as it was about 2 minutes from the station to my room. And it was a short walk to Lidl supermarket and the main tourist spots. The hostess herself, Valentina, was very helpful and besides the usual - to help me find the apartment, tell me about taxes, etc. She also gave some recommendations on what to visit and where to have dinner. I would add two cool places under the house - Trattoria Pizzeria Enzo (from Valentina's recommendations) and next door Campai (I took sushi to one of them in the evening and spent the evening watching movies). The place itself was spacious and clean (clean lady came every day and took out the trash), and I really liked the view from the balcony. I also had a comfortable workplace and fast internet, which is a definite plus for me, because I am constantly connected. And a mirror - I'd like one of those in my house))) On the last night, I got cold and tried to find a blanket, but unfortunately, there was none Also, the door to the guest house was a bit stuck and I spent time standing up to open it.

Great location Clean Laundry service- big basket for 10euro Host sent recommendations for eating etc and when asked for days out gave great advice Noisy at night with homeless people living outside on square - no threat to anyone. Stayed six nights and got change of towels once although if I had asked valentina probably would have sorted it.

The location behind the train station attracted some strange people outside who were loud through day and night (ear plugs definitely required to sleep). It made me feel a bit uneasy as a solo traveller.

The room is really clean and great located. The bed could be more confortable.

Friendly hosts, clean room, free to use coffee and tea. Very warm welcome, easy key pick and very good instructions from the host! Room was always clean and we always had clean towels. Room was very quiet, only random noices from the street. In winter room can be quite cold even with AC because room is quite high so maybe AC don't have enough power. But it always heated up before we went to bed. Toilet was more cold than the bedroom.
