The location is in the Palermo historic district. There are a number of things to see and do. more like a B& B to me. You have your private lockable bed and bath suite but also had the use of a kitchen and dining/reading room. For longer stays washers and dryers were available. Each floor may have as many as 2 or 3 suites sharing the other benefits. While safety wasn’t an issue, the location entrance is more like an ally. In addition, the entrance is not like a typical hotel/motel and is little off putting. However the owner takes every effort to accommodate arrival times.

only location thin walls and not isolated connections doors between the rooms, you hear everything from your neighbours from talking, snoring. the windows to the main street are also bad

Excellent location close to all the major tourist sites, food streets and train station. Friendly, helpful and flexible host. Great to have access to kettle in kitchen. Given central location, it could be a little noisy from nearby bars at night.

I really liked the location, very central, the host was very kind and responsive and the space was very good. I also like the system they use to unlock the doors in the building, I had access to a code that I could use to unlock them through a website so I wouldn't need the keys, found it very practical. Due to the location it can get very loud at night, with music coming from bars around (it wasn't a problem to me though)

Location is really amazing, super central. Close to every main thing you would want to see, and walking is very easy in the city, it is super close to bus stations. Close by, there is a lot of restaurants, food options and it is a very lively area.
