I really enjoyed my stay. The check-in process was easy, and the staff was very helpful and kind throughout. The room and bathroom were clean, and the people sharing my dorm space were so friendly and social. The property has a lot to offer solo travelers, including events at the hostel like trivia nights, a fitness group to help you stay on track with your healthy lifestyle (or inspire you to get started!), and day trips to the beach. It really encourages comradery and friendship throughout your stay. It also has quiet spaces for remote workers, which I found to be an excellent balance! I did not like that the woman in charge of breakfast was not friendly. Someone even mentioned that she scared them.

Creepy men - not all - but many

Access to pool and terrace with fantastic views. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Private rooms are large with tall ceilings. Daily activities. Short distance to all sightseeing locations.

This hostel is a paradise for young travellers seeking comfort and social experiences. It is conveniently located in a walking distance from the center and the shared amenities are great. The overall vibe is welcoming and the entire concept is brilliant. There are free veggies and other cooking staples in the kitchen, plenty of areas to chill, work or relax. The building itself is tastefully renovated. We ended up booking this hostel last minute after many other properties were already fully booked. My partner had previously stayed at an Ostello Bello in Milan and had a great experience, and the excellent reviews convinced us to book a private room. While the room was clean, it was very basic, especially considering the price was comparable to hotels and agriturismos we stayed in elsewhere in Sicily. The biggest issue was the lack of sound insulation. Our room was located in a separate building that also housed dorm rooms, resulting in constant foot traffic and very loud door slamming throughout the day and night. The main disappointment came when we returned from dinner to find a large party taking place at the hostel. The event was open to both guests and non-guests, with security managing entry. Unfortunately, the music continued until the early hours of the morning, making it nearly impossible to sleep despite our room facing away from the event and our use of earplugs. We understand that hostels are social places and did not expect complete silence. However, as the property also markets itself to couples and families, we feel it would be helpful to clearly communicate when large late-night events are scheduled. Had we known, we would have chosen different accommodation. On a positive note, the following night was much quieter and we slept well. You need to download an app to be able to open all doors, as they are all code accessed, which is convenient but also annoying at times. You always need to carry (a charged) phone with you and some access only works one way (we could use the elevator to come up but we were unable to open the doors from the terrace to go back in and had to use the stairs with our luggage on check out). Also, every door has a code, so you need to use the app quite a few times to get to your room.

It is a hostel, not evident in cursory review of name, left for another hotel in middle of stay. 10 euros for a bowl of cereal and 3 day old muffin. No TV
-
It has a lot of facilities View from the window on the first floor

The pool, the rooftop, the space in the rooms, the free vegetables and pasta. And all the activities organized by the hostel.

Very clean and definitely a newer place. Nice bar and great staff. They also do events at night. They give you a discount for the next time you visit an Ostello Bello in Italy. Very expensive for a hostel and no curtains around the bed.

Unique technology system that allows you to communicate with registration by app. Very tall bottom bunk bed, so spacious. The whole hostel is huge with two terraces with good view. Had free breakfast snack and a lot of vegetables and noodles to cook free pasta. Private bathroom in the rooms with showers

Was super easy to make friends at this hostel, and the facilities were relatively new. Most people hung out by the pool, which made it a fun, social spot to spend time. Also in the evening, even locals came to hang out at the bar, we got to meet people from different parts of Europe. I stayed in a shared female room with a friend, and our time here ended up being the highlight of the trip. If you’re in your 20s or 30s, you’ll have an amazing time. I wish towels had been included. During our stay the water stopped working in the rooms, which was frustrating, and it would have been nice if they had offered something to make up for it. The activities were also fun but disorganized. For example, pasta night started almost an hour and a half late, so by the time the food came out we were already super hangry.
