Atmosfere Puniche b&b

Everything. Best B&B experience we have ever had. The host, Marika was very kind, helpful and passionate about her hosting guests. She prepared authentic Sicilian breakfast every morning. She even served when her help wasn’t there. She provided many good suggestions including reservations at local restaurants where food was of excellent quality. The property was very near to most of the interesting points at the old historic town of Palermo. It provided very good and secure private (paid) parking. Nothing that we can think of.

Marika was a very kind, welcoming, and helpful host. The location is fantastic. The room, bathroom, and common space were very spacious. It’s very quiet. And there’s a bigger breakfast than you could possibly eat! There is a cat on site. There was no evidence that it was in our room, but we did feel allergic occasionally. The mattress and towels could use an upgrade.

We stayed in the Superior Double room and it was so spacious, we loved how big the room itself was. The breakfast every morning showed you a little bit of the Sicilian cuisine, it was our favorite part of the stay. We really enjoyed just being present for the entirety of the breakfast, including desert which exceeded all expectations. The host Marika was incredibly kind and helpful, she gave us recommendations for local events, and maps to the area to go explore. The host really makes you feel at home. The location was also central to the action, we could walk and explore and come back to freshen up if needed. The area was very lively and restaurants were always open especially late at night. Words cannot begin to explain how amazing the b&b was, it was a full experience, and the decorations of the room and shared areas were spectacular, we've never seen anything like it. Nothing to do with the property itself but if you are arriving by Taxi make sure they drop you off out front of the b&b as it is possible.

The location is excellent due to its being in the historic center, minutes walk from most interesting points. The decoration of the apartment is very stylish and the architecture is unique. The owner is the best part of the experience. Not only is she warm and engaging but will give you the best tips of where to eat and what to see…and her cooking is delicious!

We had a wonderful stay at Atmosfere Puniche B&B! Marika was a wonderful hostess that helped us in any way she could: restaurant recommendations and reservations, travel arrangements, suggestions for what to take in in Palermo, and more! The breakfasts each morning were a genuine taste of Sicily using fresh ingredients from Sicily. Her B&B is situated in a historic Palazzo and there is much to learn and to see at the B&B! We absolutely loved it! The B&B is a few meters from the Main Street but still very quiet at night. Marika was such a great hostess, she helped us getting the ZTL, she allowed us to have a late check out since our train was leaving in the afternoon, the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely great value for money, would 100% recommend it. Nothing to do with the property itself, but if you’re thinking about renting a car it’s not going to be easy getting to and from the B&B. Make sure you understand the ZTL as the house is in the city center, and beware of the VERY narrow roads.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The decorations were tasteful and interesting and we were made to feel as if it was our home for the duration of our stay. Our host was very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. N/A

The location of this place was great. And the host was friendly and responsive. She served the most amazing, unique breakfasts every day representing Sicily (including granitas!). She escorted us to the property as roads were closed. The place was kind of eclectic – felt like part museum, part someone’s home. Parking was super close. The bed was good. With road closures it was a bit of a challenge to drive here. Host made it easy as she met us on her scooter and directed us to the property.

Felt like I was staying with family. Warm, welcoming home. Beautiful setting and terrific location for sightseeing...first time in Palermo. Extremely convenient to sites, shopping, eateries and public transportation. Very generous breakfast. Sample of local foods. Host was available, helpful, kind, and joy.

The most beautiful B&B ever!!!! It was decorated like a museum of color but then completed with a glass floor looking down on an ancient Roman Baptismal Bath! It was quiet but within walking distance to all the sites and great restaurants. But my favorite was Marika with her incredible energy and love of cooking!!! The breakfasts were out of this world and she truly caters to any food allergies! Loved it all!

Mareka is the best host we ever had. She filled our stomachs and our hearts ? Her place is amazing inside and in a peaceful location but close to everything. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. Everything was perfect.

Mariangela is one the best host we ever had so far using Airbnb. She has warm heart and considering provide the best services to us, from breakfast, where should we go and good recommendations to restaurants, she did all she can to make sure our stay comfortably.
