Dario has what I always thought of as a B&B. He is present, produces a breakfast that was spectacular, engages everyone in conversation and has a communal table for it all. Centrally located so everything is a comfortable walk. He pours love and affection into the only TRUE B&B I’ve stayed at in 20 years. A stay here is the best you can do.

Dario was great! He gave us a plan for the day and we really enjoyed our day in Palermo. He also arranged a early morning shuttle for us to the airport.
-
Such a convenient location. We could walk all over, see sights, shop, and eat out. The train/bus station was only 6 minutes away. We were a bit surprised how noisy Palermo is.

Lovely staff, location, amenities, breakfast, etc.

Loved the stay, nothing that I didn't like.

We had a pleasant stay here for a few days. Palermo summers can be very hot, so we really appreciated the strong air conditioning. The internet is fast and stable, which is a rare and welcome feature while traveling. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hotel staff—super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with our luggage situation when we had a late evening ferry on our departure day. We also really enjoyed sharing breakfast with other guests in the dining room—it added a special social touch to our mornings. The location is excellent—very central, but also quiet since the rooms face a small street. There’s also an elevator, which made everything very convenient. One small note: our room was connected to a private bathroom via a shared hallway with a locking door. This setup is quite typical for many European B&Bs, but travelers used to hotels or American-style Airbnbs should be aware. It didn’t bother us at all, but worth mentioning depending on personal preference.

Dario creates a convivial environment in the heart of Palermo that makes you feel right at home while also providing a great base to explore this fascinating and vibrant city. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast -- with everyone seated around a big table -- allowed me to get to know fellow guests from all over the world. Also, the food and coffee were exceptional. I WILL stay here again! Nothing!

Sturdy building well located, near the train station and walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. All good.

The hotel's location, the beds, the cleanliness, and the breathtaking view of the city from the 5th floor were simply unforgettable. If I ever come back, I would stay here again without a second thought. Although it’s a Mediterranean country, their idea of breakfast is mostly sweets and carbs. You won’t find the kind of Mediterranean breakfast we’re used to—no olive oil, tomatoes, cheese, or eggs. It’s mostly pastries and baked goods. Not really our style.

Novecento offered us a wonderful accommodation experience. The place in center of the Palermo. The owners provided us with a great service, I must mention Giusy's name here. She gave us great information about the city and prepared great breakfasts. The owner Dario helped us throughout our stay. Next time we travel to Palermo, we know where we will stay. Thank you very much for everything.

Location was great. Dario was very responsive and helpful. Bathroom not en-suite. I think this was my fault in that I didn’t read property details.
-
Cozy and friendly. Amazing location in central Palermo, but still quiet. A great value.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent travel tips. Breakfast was tasty and casual, plenty of food and lots of fresh fruit. Room was comfy and very clean and lots of space to store luggage. Very close to the station and easy to get into old town. Shower was quite small and shower head needed holding rather than attaching to the wall.

Host Dario is friendly, super-helpful, and has clearly given careful thought to making this an unusually fine B&B experience. I had a clean room, beautifully furnished, wonderful linens, and great breakfast. A working elevator to the 5th floor was a big plus, too. Via Roma on a Saturday night is noisy, but I wouldn't let that put me off staying here again on a weekend.
