Small beach area. Limited towels. Didn't allow us any additional check out time. Its a total rip off, check in at 4pm & check out at 10am. And, you pay for the whole day.

The beach was absolutely stunning, there were pleanty of palapas for all whom wished to enjoy the beach.

Nothing, loved everything.

Beautiful view/beach, walkable to a lot of restaurants and stores The night of our Anniversary, which is the whole reason we went to Aruba for a vacation, we had electric and water shut down for 12 hours. My husband had a medical device that we couldn’t charge, the room got hot and not having water in the heat temperature near equator is absolutely insane! We were given 2 water bottles, 1 hand fan, and 1 flashlight with a paper explaining the construction work that hotel decided to do. That ruined our trip and made us absolutely dislike everything about Divi Phoenix, the lady/manager? who was calming people down that we never saw before the incident or after, didn’t offer anything for this HUGE inconvenience. The room was about 560-580$ a day, and half of one of the days without water and electric. We really regretted not staying at Hilton/ Holiday inn that we were choosing between all 3 before booking. Absolutely horrible experience, not to even mention that at check in -our room was dirty and dusty, shower kept leaking every time you would turn water on. And that was a nicer room with king bed and a balcony/ocean view. I would recommend staying at one of the known big company hotels instead of Divi. Level of accommodation and care is not there.

We had a fantastic stay at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. The location was exceptional- right next to the palm beach downtown area night life but just down the street so you have some peace and quiet and the beach access was calmer, more tranquil. Our room was freshly updated and beautiful ! The views were amazing every morning. The resort is exceptionally clean, and all of the staff were friendly. The grounds had onsite bbq grills and kitchens in case you wanted to eat a few meals at home, which we did everyday. The pool was super clean and refreshing and the hot tub was hot. There were a few onsight restaurants, which we didn’t utilize but very nice to have. The beach front access was perfect for many days lounging on the beach. We never had any problem getting a palapa and chairs at the beach. Such a fantastic property in Aruba and we will definitely be staying again.. Occasionally the elevator would run slow or go down to one, instead of two but that didn’t really hinder our stay

Rooms smelled like mold or mildew. We changed rooms and the new room was the same.

Staff was very friendly and tried hard to accommodate us. Properly was on the beach. Even though rooms were renovated, the property needs to renovate their entire HVAC system. We saw five rooms and each one had very heavy smells of mold. There was even evidence of black mold. The manager gave us a dehumidifier for the suite and it would fill within a couple of hours, that’s how much moisture was in the rooms. I’m highly allergic to mold and three days into our trip I got very ill with fever, very bad cough. My main concern was contracting Legionnaires disease from the AC unit. Also, for a renovated condo, there were quite a few things broken. The beach was nice except for the seaweed in the water. I’ve been to other Carribean Hotels in which they actually rake the seaweed out of the water and dispose of it. Needless to say, my trip was stressful and not relaxing. I couldn’t wait to come home. I would never go back to a Divi property.

The design of the room 210 was a bit awkward.
-
The bathroom !
-
Easy access to Beach. Clean and had spa and food options. Bathroom door would bang against toilet. We were on the first floor and the shades over the window did not block out the security lighting. We had to hang up clothes over the window to block out the light to darken the room.

Not much Cleanliness In need of renovation and modernization
-
The location was good. Good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff. The furniture a bit old. I believe a bit pricy.
-
I loved the View, the Staff and all the amenities they have right there. Some of the elevators had no A/C
-
The staff at the Resort could not have done enough for you - they were so friendly. The location was fabulous. Would definitely stay there again. Nothing we didn't like.
-
Loved the location and close proximity to restaurants and shopping We requested the tower and again did not get a room in that buy. 5th time this has happened
-
That it took so long to finally renovate.
