Cleanliness. Lovely dining facilities with very healthy breakfast.

Garden room is spacious and stylish. Room has a bunch of tiny little wooden stools type tables so no space for your stuff. Bathroom sink area is tiny. Patios need a broom so you can sweep all the tree debris in the morning. Otherwise it covers the outdoor furniture. They told us they don’t have spare brooms and we would have to wait until room cleaners got to us (which is by request only). Ran out of pool towels every morning by 11. Had to go back to our room and get bath towels. We lost our room key (later found). They didn’t have a spare key for us to use so we had to leave it unlocked for three days. AC Is good and works well. Bed is comfortable, linens were clean and nice. All the throw pillows and throw blankets are lovely textiles but not the kind that are ever washed. So know when you’re at a lounge chair or the toss pillows in your bed were used over and over by other people. Glamping in style with lovely out buildings. Just not enough for us particularly because we wanted to lay by the pool and the chairs were all taken by 830-9.

We loved the staff and how they take time to chat and make us feel comfortable. The pool, the drinks, all the settings are so enjoyable. Best is early morning with the fire pit and a coffee. I loved everything but perhaps a more diverse morning pastry (we had the lovely banana bread three mornings in a row). But it is all good!

Very overpriced for what it is. The branding is cool but doesnt live up to the experience. There are not enough loungers by the pool for guests. The breakfast and food generally isnt so good. The staff are miserable and unhelpful. I stayed the long weekend Memorial Day and it cost $3k and i felt it was terrible value for money and I did not love. Would not stay again.

Excellent staff, wonderful stay, great location. A perfect enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel. Properly curated by the owners who truly get it and have it dialed in. Food, music, shower products, rooms, atmosphere, staff. All great. We’ll be back.

The property is a beautiful and serene getaway from busy city life. Very quiet, clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very nice with hard boiled egg, fruit, salad, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt and bread. The lunch and dinner is very fresh as well. We stayed in the owner's suite which was huge and felt like it was right out of a movie. There is a cold water pool and a hot tub, complimentary smores and lots of games and books for unwinding. It was our 1st time visiting this property and would gladly come back again.

Sparrows Lodge is the platonic ideal of a boutique hotel. Rustic rooms with big windows, the scent of rosemary everywhere you turn, a gently burbling water feature audible from any square foot of the property--these are all lovely. But it's the staff that makes this place special. They genuinely care whether or not you are having a good time. Old-school, detail-driven hospitality is dead in many places, but not at Sparrows Lodge. The breakfast is beautiful (they serve a salad! At breakfast! I could weep!), and the garden is the perfect place to enjoy a late-night drink. It's hard--actually hard--to find a place that feels worthy of completely unplugging from work, from Apple News alerts, from Instagram. This is it. Thank you to the whole staff (from management to groundskeeping) for creating a place worthy of the word "getaway."

We were so looking forward to this stay, four nights to relax and enjoy this quaint hideaway. Very thoughtful and beautifully decorated, that was the extent of the enjoyment of our stay. Relax with a hot shower or soak in the tub? Not our experience, tepid water at best. The first two nights we were able to sleep some, beds and comfortable linens yes, constant noise outside our garden room was somewhat drowned out with a background noise app. Friday and Saturday night were atrocious! Obnoxious and loud parties by the fire until 4am, a polite request to keep it down only seemed to fuel the disrespect. The food? Don’t let the Michelin recommendation fool you, the most underwhelming meal we have had in some time with service to match. We so wanted this to be our go to place when staying in Palm Springs, but it missed the mark on so many levels. Aesthetically pleasing yes, beyond that a complete miss.

I didn’t like- View of pool was great but another guest sat in front of our room so when we looked out, we saw her and her computer. Above.

The rooms were great and quiet even when people were at the pool or restaurant. The servicing was top notch and everyone was super nice. It was an overall excellent experience and I’d recommend the Sparrows to anyone.
