Villa Royale

Villa Royale exceeded my expectations! I loved the pool areas, the amenities including the continental breakfast and bikes, and commitment to the relaxing environment. The room was felt homey and comfortable. We stayed for a day but we’ll be returning for a longer stay very soon. If you’re looking for a hotel where you can relax by the pool with access to good food and drinks on the property, go to Villa Royale!

Villa Royale was hands down one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time. The small boutique feel, combined with the incredible staff, made every moment feel special. The three pools gave us plenty of space to relax, and the adults-only (21+) atmosphere made it peaceful and quiet. The food was fantastic, and the poolside service was top-notch. Everything was spotless, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, fresh-squeezed juice, mimosas, and more. I can't wait to come back!

We upgraded to the suite because the rooms across the street were very small.

Great place to relax and enjoy downtime. Chill vibes and enjoyed the stay.

We received an upgraded room but the AC unit did not work the second night. Wife and I left the hotel at 3am as the room was hot with no AC

A beautiful boutique hotel. Peaceful atmosphere surrounded by palm trees. Exactly what I was looking for. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Located in a quiet small street but close to the main road with lots of shops and restaurants. On-sight restaurant 'Del Rey' served delicious food and cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms are chic mid-century decor and very spacious. Also, 4 min drive to Tahquitz Canyon Trail for a nice hike to a waterfall. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back again soon.

Beautiful retreat yo relax and unwind. Staff was amazing. friendly and helpful. Warm cookies and milk every night was a bonus.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in PS. We love the vibe and it’s so relaxing. The bathroom was about 5’ x 5’ with a shower smaller than Europe! But it has an oddly huge closet and kitcheny area.

The hotel was VERY cute, very boutique! The vibe was chill and welcoming. The pool was nice and staff very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant on site Del Ray was our favorite restaurant in all of Palm Springs!

Very nice chic place. Caters to mature couples, no loud music or overly intoxicated guests. Food, drinks, and staff were great. Our new go-to place in Palm Springs.

Close to downtown. Enough loungers by the pool during the week. House cat so sweet.. staff is great, love Julio. Clean and relaxing, no kids is a plus. Greeted with delicious sangria! Breakfast was also nice to have available and coffee was good. AC in room 33 is loud and dusty, fan in bathroom didn’t work.

This hotel has a cool, old Hollywood, eclectic sorta vibe. Lots of nice outdoor spaces with 3 pools. Room was clean with comfortable bedding, though lighting and A/C are outdated. Continental breakfast was great. Staff very attentive and easy to reach by text. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Love this place! Came here for our anniversary and we had a great time relaxing at the pool, our room was adorable and we just loved the atmosphere and decor all around-Such a sweet escape

Exceptional

Lovely surroundings with palm trees and mountains in close view. Lobby, with low light was inviting even though we couldn’t see what we were reading. Lanai very comfortable space with wonderful free breakfast!!! Loved the salmon and fixings, bagels and fresh fruit. Didn’t have a mimosa but so nice the champagne was included. Coffee was good. Clean main pool was just right. Great service around pool. The ice water and crunchy corn nuts delivered to us were a great touch. Also food and drink service by pool was just right. Fantastic pool music, especially the Mexican music! Loved the fire pit! Loved the rooftop deck for after dinner lounging. Del Rey restaurant was fantastic! So interesting and lively. Food was delicious! Room location by main pool was perfect! All staff were pleasant and accommodating! No signage at main door for Del Rey. We found the patio door and sat there for 20 minutes before someone found us and showed us there was an inside! Although the patio was lovely the inside was much more interesting and fun! The air conditioning was hard to control. I would not have liked the other pools and surrounding rooms.

The staff was great. We loved the breakfast and the pool.

10 out of 10. From the staff and service, pools, massage, wonderful food and drinks. They overlook no detail and genuinely seem like they want you to have a great experience. They had a welcome sangria, memosa at breakfast, bring you ice water and snacks at the pool, sunblock stations etc. The effort and attention to detail as well as the service, provided luxury experience without it feeling stuffy or that you couldn't have fun. Great ambiance, great design- a perfect stay.
