Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs

Having everything on site , the pool, music, the diner, the bar and lounge was great you don't need to leave for anything.

Place is the best other than very expensive drinks and food

Stayed in room 501 just so we wouldn’t be by the main pool and the loud music. I’m not sure why this place is rated so high by families. I brought my grandson and his mom with me. The “family pool” was not so inviting with super cloudy water and the pool chairs looked like they were from 1952 abandoned at the hotel. Couldn’t sit on them and relax. There were no towels either or anyone to ask for towels. The room was clean enough but the AC unit was super loud and the foot traffic outside the room equally loud. Obviously it’s a party atmosphere and definitely not for families.

The location to our event. All staff, bar, reception, restaurant were so kind and helpful. Our room was clean and loved where it waa facing the pool. I wasn't sure what the resort fee included and the pool water just a little too warm.

This hotel is sooo loud. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation maybe pick somewhere else. The doors slam shut extremely loud, so we were woken up all night with people coming into their rooms. Also one night there was a private event at the family pool right outside our room blasting music til 11pm that they hadn’t previously told us about. The pool was nice but next time I’d probably stay elsewhere and just get a day pool pass here. Also beware of the prices at the pool $25 for a cocktail and almost $30 for any food item

Things seem to have gone downhill with the PS Ace. The rooms have been jankier and jankier each time I've stayed there. This time, the shower leaked, the water pressure was bad, there was a cockroach in my room, and housekeeping pounded on my door incessantly at 9am. After a long love affair with this place, I'm finally done.

The property was nice and clean. That they had people there that didn't have a room there so the pool was so full you couldn't get in.

First room smelled like urine, second room was slightly better but did not feel as clean as it could be. Received random charges two days after my stay and was accused of smoking (I am literally 5 months pregnant). They reversed the charge but still extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. The pool ran out of towels. The family pool was full of moms popping bottles and not watching their kids despite a no glass rule at the pool. Overall it’s really unkept and lacks care.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We loved how they showed the World Cup game and also the basketball game in the back room by the pool. It was very cool and a cool space to hang out.

1. 2 fraudulent charges on account 2. Dirty room - old hair in shower and drain, used tissues behind chest. Dust balls, debris and hair under beds and closet 3. No service at pool and unkept 4. Obscene food and drink costs

LOVED this hotel. The room was so cute and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. There are so many amenities, you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. Can’t wait to come back!

Parking was an extra charge, plus resort fee, and no housekeeping, we ordered food by the pool and our orders were not correct (caesar salad didn't have dressing, chickpea salad had no chickpeas, etc). The front desk staff was cold and unfriendly. It was honestly disappointing.

This was the first time we weren’t allowed to stay at the main pool due to new policies set by the change in management. We were forced to stay at the smaller pool designated for families where the atmosphere was mediocre at best. The prices have also significantly increased for the rooms and the food. We were even charged for parking for the first time ever. Perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t already tack on multiple “resort fees.” Honestly, for the price we paid to stay, it’s hard to justify going back after the changes mentioned above. It makes me sad that it’s likely the last time we stay at the Ace Hotel after 18 years.
