Hotel ILUNION Palmanova Mallorca

I would like to explain why I will not return to this hotel with my child. If your child is under five years old, you may have the same experience I did: spending the entire week running after your child instead of relaxing by the sea, and leaving even more exhausted than when you arrived. I spent a long time choosing a hotel and finally selected this one because of its description, the children’s facilities, and what appeared to be a kids’ club and excellent children’s pools. The pools were indeed wonderful, and we were very happy with them. However, whenever it became too hot outside, I tried to find indoor activities for my son. Unfortunately, there was almost nothing available for younger children. There were activities organized by the animation team, but they were mainly suitable for children aged six and older. My son is only two and a half years old, and he had absolutely nothing to do except run around the hotel while I chased after him all day. The hotel did have a children’s room, and we were given a key to access it. Unfortunately, the room contained only a small slide with ball pit balls and a playhouse. That was all. It would not have taken much to make the space more useful for toddlers — even €100 worth of simple toys such as toy cars, building blocks, puzzles, or other basic play items would have made a huge difference. I was not expecting anything extraordinary, just a space where young children could play safely and stay entertained for a while. As it was, the room was almost empty, and my son would lose interest after just 5–10 minutes. Meanwhile, nearby hotels had lovely indoor playrooms where younger children could play with toys and take part in age-appropriate activities. This was exactly what I was expecting when I booked this hotel. This is the main reason why I will not return, despite the fact that the hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had an outstanding staff.

Wonderful location, near the beach and other attractions. The food was good. We had great time in the pools.

The food buffet selection could have been better. Room sizes are smaller than expected. Pools are all outdoor and could have been heated.

The programs for kids were engaging at night. Swimming pool was good (not heated though). The food buffet has some variety, but not very healthy stuff. Size of the family room isn't that big. It was quiet crowded for 2 adults and 2 kids. We had rented a car for driving around and finding parking in the locality in the evening wasn't that easy.

Mattress and pillows are not comfortable

The stuff was great, very helpful. Great food. Everything was fine!

The coffee at breakfast

Great customer service and care, staff at the reception. They listened to all our needs. Also listened to our warning about a scam taxi services from the website www.eurotaxy.com Excellent food. It was 5 minutes walk to the beach.

I loved the food & facilities The location at top of hill & a couple of groups of party goers (they should be put on the high floors as they were quite noisy a couple of nights and I was travelling with young child)

Everything, the staff were outstanding. The location was great. The food was fantastic with lots to choose from. Really clean and comfortable rooms . The wine 'on tap' with the all inclusive option wasn't good, but that was all really

Nice clean hotel, good location. There is a hill but not too bad. The noise, the entertainment was so loud almost could be turned down a tiny bit. As there are no doors shut between reception and the floor 2. The noise is so loud. Also the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything even people just talking. The other guests were so loud and had no respect. Other than this it was a lovely stay.

Superb hotel with excellent staff,checked in by Juan who was super efficient, helpful and friendly. Great selection of food and the restaurant staff were all very nice. The location of the hotel is great, supermarket opposite selling a variety of goods and steps not far away down to a lovely beach The facilities for children were extremely good, terraced pools and an abundance of sunbeds I could not fault this hotel in any way and will most definitely return There were no dislikes

The food is excellent. And the location is perfect, only 3 minutes walk to the beach. Not easy to find a parking place at night.

The suite was very spacious. It was nice to have refreshments on arrival with access to a kettle and a fridge. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was bland and very basic. A lot of chaos at feeding time. Not enough warm food. The quality of the breakfast buffet was really bad. Very cheap food brought in for the masses. Sausages and mushrooms were unedible. Would have like to seen food that tasted better than what it was. Equipment for entertainment was broke as well.
