The Nest Hotel Palo Alto

Modern and clean. Water feature helpful for setting relaxing ambiance.

The room was like a cheap motel 6, the baseboards were all buckled from water damage. The wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. I went to unplug my charger and whole socket came out of the wall. It’s listed as a hotel but is really a hotel. They had caulking all over the baseboards which was done poorly. It had a coffee maker and that’s it. The floor was linoleum and has big holes in it, no carpet. Had breakfast which was lukewarm, hash browns were not cooked well. Sausage was pale looking, no signs of being well done. Eggs were wet. Looks like everything was microwaved. The gale at the front desk was really nice. If you want ice you have to ask at the front desk. They even charge me $10.00 for parking my own car which they took off when we left. In all I would look for a nicer place to stay at an affordable price. All the pictures are deceiving.

There is now a $10 charge for parking.

I find the Nest Hotel to be a great deal. It’s simple, clean and comfortable. The people who work there are helpful kind and care very much about the quality of your stay.

Place was OK. Definitely renovated and OK. Not a lot of room to put suitcases out. Bed was OK. Properties a little worn down but breakfast was decent and the Help staff was pretty good.

Catfished by the hotel. It’s a very small hotel. It’s actually been renovated since the 60s where it was once a motel. It feels like people were murdered in the rooms. On top of that, i dropped off my luggage to head to work since my room wasn’t ready yet. They left my luggage outside for hours in the lobby unattended and close to the front doors!! Negligence! Also the bathrooms smell HORRIBLE. It smells like mildew. I will not be staying here again.

Even though I paid in advance the hotel charged my card again at the time of check in. I’m still working through the details making sure I’m not getting charged again

Complementary Breakfast was “just okay”. Nothing to get excited about We will not recommend this “Motel”especially if you’re accustomed to Marriott brand or Hilton type hotels. We are very disappointed because reviews were misleading as well. Maybe they wrote their own reviews. Maybe 2-3 stars. They should be better for the prices they charge.

Pretty clean but the bathroom floor was stained with black mark and I cleaned my self, I prefer little bigger room other then that it was great. I loved the area. Quite and convenient

Exceptional

The breakfast and location. The hotel is falsely advertising online. The actual hotel looks nothing like the photos that are on the website. It's ran down looking. Tons of damage around the property and in the hotel room. No refrigerators. Extremely disappointed. Would have not stayed there if known the truth. As well as the staff take no response ability for the false advertisement blamed it on booking.com. the hotel was over priced for what you actually had.

The "Hotel" was actually an upscale Motel. Floors were not thoroughly cleaned as evidenced by our socks. The TV had streaming access, but no cable or satellite channels. Charged $10 per day for parking.

Clean and convenient

My spouse and I were miffed to pay $10 per night for parking. Also, refrigerators aren't included in rooms by default. The rooms are small and poorly lit, not suitable for a business trip. They feel more like a place one would stay for an affair.

Exceptional

No refrigerator, or microwave in room. Also, why can’t the buffet start at 6AM 7 days a week?
