A little small for the rate

Location was good , lots of restaurants nearby . The metro was very close and there was a monoprix across the street . The breakfast was good ? All the staff were good except the one girl at breakfast I believe her name was Nifa? We were supposed to start breakfast at 730 she didn’t have anything ready till almost 830 ! When asked said it was a “ little delay”. She didn’t bring us the drink or anything to our table and the whole attitude was that she was mad and we’re a bother trying to eat breakfast that we paid for . The other girl Julie was extremely nice served with a smile and brought our coffee to us etc. all the staff were helpful and nice except that one girl who made that morning miserable . I also think would be nice to get fresh towels and trash taken out for longer stays . We were there for 5 nights me and 2 teenagers and the room was a mess that I trued to keep clean the best I could !

Being at Le Marais is great, but at the same time, that exact location gets extremely congested with traffic, so it takes a long time to get back to the hotel if you go back during rush hour.

Nothing If you’re looking for a true hotel experience, this may not be the right choice. It feels more like renting an apartment with a long list of responsibilities than enjoying a relaxing vacation. Check-in is extremely strict. Don’t arrive before 4:00 PM, because even if your room is ready, they will not let you check in early. There is also no comfortable lobby or seating area where you can wait, so you’ll be left with nowhere to sit until check-in time. Before arrival, you’re required to answer 7–8 questions, making the process feel more like an interview than a hotel check-in. During your stay, you’re expected to complete several household tasks yourself. For example, you must take your own trash to the building’s designated bins, and the washing machines are located in the basement, meaning you have to carry your laundry up and down the building. This feels more like everyday life at home than a relaxing vacation. Be aware that the city tax is charged separately and was not included in my original invoice, resulting in an unexpected additional cost. The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of flexibility. Once they have received your payment, they show little willingness to consider guests’ circumstances or accommodate reasonable requests. If your travel plans change because of illness or an emergency, don’t expect much understanding or support. My advice is simple: only book this property if you’re absolutely certain about your travel dates and everyone in your family is in good health, because changing your plans later may not be be possible. Unfortunately, the level of customer service and flexibility did not meet my expectations.

Spacious, clean, well equipped, good location. Lovely decor. Price seemed high compared to other options in Paris.

This hotel had everything we needed for our stay in Paris during the spring heat, including AC, running water, laundry, and a comfortable place to rest. The staff were incredibly supportive and kind to us as well. There was even security at the front door. We would absolutely stay here again! Nothing!

the room in booking is 25 sqm - in reality its much less in booking it doesnt mention that the price excludes (!!) room cleaning everything in the hotel is complicted and expensive

The room was a good size for two people, a little tight for three adults but we managed. After all, it's Paris. It was close to the Metro and there was a grocery store across the street. The kitchen worked for us and was setup to cook a real meal. When I look at a room description on booking.com if it says washing machine, dryer, walk-in closet, clothes rack, etc., I expect them to be in the room that I am booking. This was not the case. The washer and dryer are in the basement. No information about using the equipment was posted. It took a long time. I probably had the dryer settings wrong, or maybe it's because the dryers are not vented. I expected for the price $3500 for 3 people for 7 nights that the accommodation would be in the Marais when it was actually on the boarder (?), really. It was in easy walking distance of the Marais that we see on the Internet. The neighborhood was not the Paris that I expected. No sidewalk cafes. Busy street. Grubby? We have stayed in Paris five times in the past few years. Some staff were good, some not so good. A young lady helped us with our A/C, thank you. A young man at the desk couldn't tell me where to get a good pizza. The most aggravating thing was being told on our last night if we wanted toilet paper there was a store across the street. Come on, one roll? Also, remove you trash from your room at $3500. Hum.....

Staff and access and we were ripped off having to pay from 2pm extra and extra taxes. None of the door codes worked. It is not a hotel

Good Marais Location No hotel service provided. Requested softer Kleenex and toilet paper but told to purchase them at the grocery store

Excellent property offering all one might need (including a fully equipped kitchen). Clear communication with the staff before arriving and during the stay. The location allows easy access to any major tourist spot (either walking distance or a short public transport stop away). Good connection to the airport (CDG). Wide selection of restaurants within walking distance. We had a lovely stay.

This hotel has very bad service. We got a small room with a very small bed, and the main issue was that it was very noisy, both from outside and inside. We heard the traffic from the road very loudly even with the windows closed, and we could also hear people from the next room. We didn’t sleep at all, and we are not usually sensitive to noise. After a night like this, we went to the reception to ask for a solution, and they asked us to give them a 5/5 rating on Google in order to replace the room. In the end, we stayed in the same room and had a very bad experience. The breakfast was disappointing, the room was very small, the service was bad, and it was very noisy. Don’t go there!

    Location. Space.

Room was quite small but very nice. There were nothing missing. It was very chic, clean and comfortable. Wardrobe was too small, our luggage were always stayed in front of the door.

    Everything

Location Didn’t receive the room I was supposed to get.

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

Very good hotel! The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful — they assisted us quickly whenever we needed anything. I especially liked having a kitchen in the room, which made it easy to prepare snacks. The design is beautiful, and you can see that every detail was thoughtfully planned. The location is perfect: major landmarks are within walking distance, and the metro is nearby. We’re very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

Wow, I don't know where to start. I was in France for six weeks and discovered Quartier Libre Marais. This is the best location and value in Paris and the staff is so amazing. Caroline went above and beyond for me. Always the best smile and always ready to help me with anything. I ended up staying three time at Quartier Libre as I traveled to different cities in France. This is the only place I want to stay on in the future. I was able to cook a beautiful meals during the Christmas holidays with my kids and the market des Enfants Rouges is just a few blocks away so also a great Monoprix across the street. Can't wait to go back. Caroline I'll be back in May. Thank you for the kindness I experimented with you guys! This time I'm bringing some more of my friends with me to introduce them to Quartier Libre Marais. Everything, super clean. Thoughtfully designed and has everything like you're in a real apartment anywhere in the world. Super sophisticated. I was just like home in San Francisco.
