Hotel Alane

The property is very well located close to public transportation. There are Supermarkets, bistros but also chain restaurants that remain open till late. The staff were very polite, accommodating, and all speak pretty decent English so that we can handle the basic transactions. The rooms have AC and our room had 2 big lovely windows which allowed sunlight and a view of the street which for Paris can be pretty lovely. The rooms are cleaned daily. The rooms were quite small and it would be nice to have a refrigerator. There was some mold in the bathroom shower tiles which also cause some smell and it requires deep cleaning

Location, friendly most helpful staff, very clean, comfortable beds I was unable to lower the aircon temp so I found it very warm. The position of the unit was a problem.....I understand renovations are tricky in small places however this placement and the very tight shower were problems for us.....can cope with one night a longer stay NO which is sad

The location The shower was tiny, the TV, the extractor fan in the bathroom and a bedside light didn't work.

The hotel is well located, everything is very close, you have busses, metro and the train station very close, walking distance. Also, there are a lot of places to eat very close by. The hotel is clean, the staff is really great, helpful and very welcoming. 24/7 reception, which was great for us, we arrived very late. The room size is ok, the bathrooms/showers are very cramped and it's a bit stuffy. The hotel overall is a bit dated, the value for money is okay-ish, a bit pricier for what it offers, even if it's Paris.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was close to metro and restaurants. We found a great coffee place and a market close by. Room had everything we needed. A/C. Clean shower and towels and coffee pot. A but tight as in close quarters but we made it work!

The hotel was excellently located just a couple of minutes walk from Gare du L’est and less than ten from Gare du Nord. We were made very welcome by all reception staff. It had everything we needed and was very reasonably priced. The shower and bathroom sink were very small and the walls were quite thin.

Location was good, shower was good. - Noisy location and you can easily hear people opening and shutting their room doors as if its your own door. - The room is very very small not as the photos. - Not very clean room or bathroom

The reception staff were very kind. Guiding us for everything. The room was cleaned every day. *You can't sleep with the windows open because Paris is a city that never sleeps. The traffic noise is infernal. *Very poor breakfast: boiled eggs, two kinds of cheese (sliced), one kind of salami and ham, one kind of cereal, cold milk, apple juice and orange juice (from the box), coffee maker (not from beans) and warm milk. There are no vegetables of any kind. There is no pepper! There is no lemon! If you leave on an early trip and don't serve breakfast, don't pack it. *The windows and sashes were not washed on the outside.

Prime location, i loved the layout of the room too Sometimes can be inconvenient to keep giving your key to reception as you leave especially when out late

Location. Air con switched off. Shower extremely small.

Bed was comfy. It was by the road so it was loud, even in the evenings.
