I really enjoyed staying at this hotel as I was treated nicely (very friendly staff at the reception) and could even check in early. The room was cute in its practical design and included aircon, hairdryer, kettle (with complimentary coffee/tea). I found the bed comfortable and slept well — also because the window opened to a small inner courtyard. I gound the breakfast quite good for French breakfast standard and there was plenty of bread & ctoussants, juices, cheese, jams etc. The location was central: 7min ftom Gare du Nord (where the trains ftom the airport CDG arrive) and 2min from Gare de l‘Est. There were plenty of restaurants, fast food restaurants and shops around.

The room was small as useally in Paris. The breakfast was pretty good: milk and yougurts, pastry, boiled eggs, good fruts, coffee and other warm drinks, high quolity jucies . We found that stuff was nice and friendly. A lot of transport was very helpful too In the case of city vew it was a bit noisy at the street at nights and windows should be closed. But it is a problem of a big street but not a hotel.

The best feature of the hotel was the AC. In the heatwave that we had in Paris, it would have been impossible to sleep without it. The room was decent size for 1 person, small, but enough, clean sheets and towels. Loved the pillows, actual human sized ones, not one of those flimsy flat pillows that dissappears under your head. The corridors tiny, the elevator even more small, but funcțional. Good water pressure in the shower. The closeness of Gare de l'est was both convenient and a bit scary. Expect some dodgy ppl around after dark. The metro station 2 steps away, several bus stops too. The 24h desk is nice, speaking good English too. The room shows the years of use, with chipped paint and doors that are warped to the point of having to force it close. You are handed keys on a heavy keychain as entry key, No digital keycard here. Hefty fine if you loose it too. But you can leave it at the front desk, don't have to carry it around all day.
