The location and cleanliness Our room was very small, and the elevator felt quite cramped, which was challenging since I was traveling with my 75-year-old grandmother and wanted to avoid the steep stairs. Additionally, the overall service felt indifferent, as staff rarely acknowledged us when we entered or exited the hotel. That said, I want to recognize Hocyn for his outstanding hospitality. Before our departure, he went above and beyond by helping me purchase stamps and mail postcards to my family. His kindness and willingness to help made a lasting impression. Thank you, Hocyn!

It was a walkable location to many sights and shopping, and walkable to cafes and restaurants. Close to grocery stores. Most of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. If you want to take the metro, it is very close. The staff was very good about daily cleaning of our room. The photos of the building were much nicer than the actual hotel in person. The on-line presentation made it appear cute and full of charm, where in reality it had peeling paint, broken exterior light fixture and was on more on a back alley than a street. A staff member was rude and tried to charge us for the complimentary coffee pods that go in the room coffee maker. One staff member surprisingly did not know her way around the city - she was nice but challenging to get advice from. It was difficult for two people to sit down comfortably with suitcases in the room, and the bathroom was tiny. Very small and scary elevator, and the staircase carpet needs replacement.

Wonderful little hotel in a great central location. The staff was super excellent and definitely would go extra mile every day we stayed there. The room we had was a good size, and very comfortable.

Room was extremely small and to many stars

The staff were very nice, especially Madam Stéphanie, who was always helpful when I asked for tea and sugar in the evenings :) It was also convenient that the reception is open 24 hours. Overall, a very good experience and I would happily stay here again.

The only decent quality of this place is the location, everything else is a horror Before coming here, I read the reviews about the hot water not working, but I had surely thought that by now a professional hotel on booking.com would have solved this. I took the chance anyway and still booked it. My friend and I arrived the first night pretty late and after two of us showering, the water was still ICE cold. We went to sleep and hoped that it would be better the next day. In the middle of the night and early morning hours we were woken up constantly being in room 11, the sound of every other guest coming in and out of the hotel is apparent. Luckily we had earplugs, but this would have been horrible without them. It sounds like every other guest is inside our room because of how poor the sound insulation is. On the second day the shower water was still FREEZING cold so I went to the front desk to report this. The gentleman told me that there was nothing he could do (the technician would take long to arrive and there were no other available rooms) but advised that I should run the shower water for 20 minutes (very environmentally sustainable…..) because room number 12 next to me also complained and had the same problem and running the water for 20 minutes solved it for them. It did not solve it. On my third and final night I could not take anymore, after not having a proper warm shower for 3 days, so I went once again to the reception. Now suddenly he offered to move us to a different room. He gave me the keys to a new room (i believe it was 66, somewhere on the 6th floor) and when i opened it i was shocked. The room i had been staying in the past 2 nights was disgusting in comparison to this room. In the new room, i turned the shower on and immediately there was hot water. I went back down to swap the room keys for our final night (so we could stay in 66 and return the keys to 11).

The staff are outstanding. Even before arrival, their communication was prompt and very accommodating. The welcome from the staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable, even if simple and basic. We really appreciated the many and we'll positioned electrical outlets, as well as the heated towel rack. The breakfast was good, and we were glad for the (smallish) elevator. The hotel's closeness to restaurants, boulangeries, groceries and shops was also good. And metros and bus lines were steps away. Really nothing. For example, to dig up something we didn't like, we have to go to something really small-time: rue Beauregard is at the top of a hill, so you have to walk uphill whenever coming back to the hotel.

Nothing
-
Location The lack of the hot water.
-
Sink was blocked, and no internet connection after midnight. Other than that it was good.

We liked literally everything about this hotel : the staff, the location, the cleanliness of the rooms. A very relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff ♥️? Nothing !!

In the bathroom there is a metal pinch that can cut someone. It needs attention.

Location

Location was good - No elevator till floor 5; - Very small for this price; - No spaces to leave personal belongings; - Room service didn't bring coffee and tea to the room; - Shower cap and door in the bathroom were broken;
-
The problem was that the room was more a cell, than an room. There was a window which "looked" out on closed in space. The bed was up against a corner of the room. One could only get in from one side. That side had less than 2 meters of space to walk in. There was no dresser and little place to put ones belongings. The very cramped space. It might have been fine for a young couple on a secret get a way.

The location Overpriced

The room was very small but clean. The hotel is located in a very good location. There was noise coming from other rooms through the window, and guests in some rooms would start talking loudly from 6-7 in the morning.
