It was intimate and personal The sink had a slight smell. Possibly a back up
-
Excellent location 7th floor room with broken lift.
-
Location and staff. Bed was very comfortable. Amenities were great. 4 mins to the metro station. Room was very small but still had everything.

The hotel has a huge potential. It needs a retorfit. Rooms are way too small. Breakfast too simple but understandable because there is no space. Reception team try to be nice and effective but it seems they work in different shifts and they don’t speak t each other. They hardly reply emails. Reception team couldn’t find the packages that were shipped on my name. One of the 2 packages was found after I left, and I never received.

Lovely warm welcome from front desk, service in the restaurant was exceptional The shuttle wasn’t running for about 4 hours in the afternoon, so we had to take a taxi. Not a big deal, but one of the reasons we chose this hotel was because they had free shuttle service.

Great location, very quiet and at the same time in a nice neighbourhood. Rooms are clean and very cozy. People at the reception are wonderful, super friendly and helpful!

The location was wonderful. The staff was wonderful too, especially Cecilia! She gave the best restaurant recommendations. The cappuccino machine downstairs was so yummy!
-
Clean There was a bright light out the window on all night. They had black out curtains but they were too small to cover the windows - absolutely unacceptable!!!!
-
Location was good, as expected. The bed was comfortable. Met basic expectations
-
Location is great! And it has an elevator. Shower handle was broken and shower pan was very slow to drain. We informed staff but nothing was done during our 3 day stay.
-
Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent. Room could have been slightly bigger, more hangers in the closet and room to rest two suitcases.
-
One of our rooms was Very small for 2 persons (6th floor) and not so comfortable beds. Still ok fir the price.
-
Staff was exceptionally nice, both the woman and man that helped us with suggestions, taxi to airport, picnic suggestions etc were terrific NA

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were on the smaller side, but were exceptionally clean. The location was great for walking around and getting a feel for Paris..

At first thought lobby and room were small. But room (in attic with terrace) ended up feeling more cozy than cramped. We loved it! So convenient and cozy and had everything we needed, even a supermarket below in basement Had to manually go up small (4-5) steps with luggage but minor inconvenience, lift takes you most of the way. At night sometimes desk unmanned which felt slightly not secure, but otherwise lovely helpful staff and great stay and location.

Excellent location in the Marais. Short walk to many restaurants and shops and sights. Comfy bed, but TINY room, excellent for one person but really cramped for two people (there were two twin beds pushed together). Breakfast was sparce, bare minimum and breakfast room is super tiny, with 4 tiny two person tables very close. Do not buy the breakfast here- there is a Pauls around the corner. Very nice front desk employees all speak good English. TERRIFYING steps and elevator exit. The tiny elevator opens on your floor to about a foot of carpet then an angled drop off down the steps, which is HARD TO SEE - how many guests fall down these stairs? Getting into and out of the elevator was a nerve wracking experience and there is NO WAY this can be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who is not sure footed with excellent vision. Young fleet footed people with good vision- no problem.

The only thing this hotel had going for it, was the location. BUT... there were several other cheaper hotels in the same are for a much lower price. You need to lower your prices! Honestly, this was horrible value for the money for what was advertised. The rooms look amazing on the website, however, in person it left A LOT to be desired. Small, cramped and not cute at all. I would not book with Happy Culture Hotels again. I also stayed at the Strabourg, France location a week earlier, and was not impressed. Also, the stairs are immeditaley outside the elevator, which is a complete hazard! I almost fell as I was backing out of the elevator, and the host didn't even warn me! Super close call!
