I liked that there was diptique shampoo/conditioner/shower gel products. The room was unbearably small. I would not recommend this hotel for tourists. The location was walkable to a lot of areas of interest, however the immediate area surrounding the hotel was dirty and unpleasant. Also the pictures misrepresent the quality of the finishes of the hotel.

Sadly, our stay at Hôtel Les Deux Gares & Spa was a little disappointing. The photos really sell the hotel as a beautiful, chic boutique stay, but it feels like those images were taken when the hotel first opened. Since then, there seems to have been a lack of maintenance, which really shows. Nothing was particularly bad, but there was a lingering feeling that the hotel was a little run down and sadly dirty. There were areas where paint was chipping, some of the furniture was dusty, and overall everything just felt like it could do with a deeper clean and some upkeep. That said, I wouldn't say it's a bad hotel, but I would definitely recommend managing your expectations. The rooms don't quite live up to the photos, and they're much smaller than they appear online. We booked a standard double room (not the comfort room), and it was so compact that there wasn't enough space to fully open a suitcase. On the positive side, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location is On the positive side, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location is convenient. However, being so close to the station, there were a lot of homeless people and groups of men lingering on the surrounding streets. If you are a solo traveller, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable walking around the area alone at night, particularly on weekends. If the hotel invested a little more in maintenance and refreshed the rooms, it could be a really nice place to stay. For now, it's fine - but it doesn't quite live up to what the photos lead you to expect. One example is the reception area in the photos provided. It's the main lobby, so it kind of sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. Overall, it just feels a bit cluttered and not particularly clean - for example, the blue sofa in the photo. High price for the standard. Small Rooms - Standard double rooms are extremely compact, with barely enough space to fully open a suitcase.

Location - just round the corner from Gare du Nord - so we could walk over to catch the Eurostar. Decor - was colourful and stylish. Staff friendly and rooms comfortable. We had windows with a view of the street below and the station - so the room was light and airy. Nothing.

Good location for train stations, fun decor in rooms and hallways, comfy bed and great pillows. Slightly sketchy area (wouldnt want to walk around at night, taxi straight to door), spa/swim facilities closed for maintenance but only stated this once we had booked. Marks on walls in rooms and difficult to get luggage in and out of rooms as very small entryway, bathroom very tiny, hard to sit on toilet as knees on door. No hand soap in bathroom when we arrived and no instructions on how to use internal phone in room to ring reception however brought to us straight away once we messaged on booking.com. Amenities like kettle were inside cupboard which was strange and dressing gowns provided were old and tired, wouldnt want to use them.

Location is near to train station. Check in says 3pm but they wouldn’t let us check in till 4pm (running late because they were “cleaning” our room). There was used women’s sanitary products in the trash so it was not clean.

Colorful and quirky, it DOES feel like a Wes Anderson set. bUt it works, and feels so Parisienne. My room was cosy and comfortable and plenty big enough, even being on the top floor with funky ceilings. But the staff made the stay memorable. everyone was lovely, welcoming, not snooty, and helpful. Merci! the pool and spa were closed for repairs. I would have loved to use them. Now i’ll just have to come back

Fabulous design inside! Close to both the North and East rail stations. Gritty exterior. Expensive for what you get.

It was super nice I really liked it but the superior room is 2000 better than the normal Room which was smelly, a bit dirty, really poorly decorated and a bit disgusting overall Cleaning and room itself

I love the location, the decor, the comfortable bed, the amazing bathtub!
