Hotel Opera d'Antin

Right behind Galleries LaFayette and very close to the metro station. Walking distance from Opera Garnier. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. AC made wonders during the summer. Highly recommended.

Great location right next to Galleries Lafayette and close to the Opera building. Smallish room worked fine since we weren’t there much. Great staff. Rooms could be a bit bigger.

The hotel is quite adorable in general. It has an "art deco" vibe throughout, with a cozy cafe area that makes pastries and fruit-water available every morning. There's an elevator, which is a godsend in Paris in the summer. We stayed in the Prestige level room, which felt enormous for downtown Paris, with a separate shower and bathtub in a brand new bathroom, and storage galore for all our clothes and things. The room in general was comfortable and quiet, the staff were very friendly, and the cleaning staff were attentive and prompt. The only downside (and even then, it's just a partial one) was that even though the hotel and the rooms are centrally air conditioned, during the super heatwave that was happening during our stay (last two weeks of June) it couldn't quite keep up with the near-40-degrees weather, so we had to have some fans added to the room. It worked, and was still comfortable, but they might want to look into upgrading the central AC capacity if more canicules are coming in the future.

My room was off the main building so I have use few stair cases to get to the room.

Room is small and not blight. I chose no view room to save money. Although there were windows I could open, just internal building view that I didn’t want to see.

I enjoyed all the staff and how the rooms were taken care of each day This property stated it had Air Conditioning which it did downstairs but once I got to my room, no air coming in. They blamed it on the heat wave but the other two days were normal and it was still hot.

Hotel location was very good. Well within walk distance to all major sites and good restaurants in the vicinity. No A/C! Upon check in staff informed us that A/C was very limited. Due to outside temp is was useless. Very thankful that staff did add a fan to the room. Would have been absolutely miserable without it. Room was very small when compared to US style hotel.

Staff, room, location Nothing. We didn't have breakfast, but from what I saw, it was not worth 15 euros.

The location was easy to access via the underground. The staff was helpful. The cleaning service was not great. One night they did not provide an under heat and we slept on plastic. The room was small.

The location is perfect. Right behind the galleries. Lafayette. Quick access to the Metro. Lots of restaurants and stores around. The staff was extremely helpful and gracious. Extra bonus was the showers. Had excellent water pressure and were a nice treat after exploring the city for the day. The breakfast offered is a little sparse for the price. We were able to go and get coffee and tea in the breakfast room which was wonderful, but we opted to grab a bite at a local patisserie.

The location, the property but mostly the professional and courteous staff make it memorable stay. Nothing at all.
