the location was great. average hotel for the price but that is Paris.

Air conditioned! We were there at the height of the heat wave rooms were small and quite dated. The bathroom was renovated though so that was good

We like the clean room and the location. None

Everything but the poor old airconditiong on the 5th floor. But the staff gave us a nice fan that made the extreme Paris heat bearable. AC was not up to today's standards. Admittedly, the temps in Paris were record-breaking and even deadly, so I understand. Normal weather, this would have been an excellent rating.

Short but perfect stay .

The location was excellent! It’s about 20–30 minutes from most major attractions in Paris and just a 2-minute walk from the Cadet metro station (Line 7). Another great bonus is that it’s right in front of a park and surrounded by local cafés that aren’t tourist traps. I’d also recommend a nearby bakery that’s just a short walk away, as well as Restaurant Hugo on the corner (not the one directly across the street). The rooms were a bit small, but that’s quite typical for Paris, so it wasn’t a big surprise. Also, the room didn’t include slippers, and the washroom door wasn’t very convenient.

Overpriced

the hairdryer was not working on high heat and keeps disconnecting every 1 minute. the bathroom had a bath-tub with permanent spots & stains as well as the toilet.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Opera Lafayette in Paris. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby train stations, convenient taxi drop-off points, and many restaurants within walking distance. One of the highlights of our stay was the room size. The room was comfortably large enough for a family of three, which is not always easy to find in Paris. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The reception desk being staffed 24/7 was another major advantage. We arrived very early in the morning and were able to check in, which made a big difference after a long journey. Additionally, having an elevator was extremely important for us. It made getting to our fifth-floor room easy and allowed us to transport our suitcases without any hassle — a real bonus for Paris accommodation. The only downside was the Wi‑Fi. The connection did not work well in our fifth-floor room, and we had to go down to reception for a more stable connection.

Nothing Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The entire property had no hot water because all of the boilers were broken. This happened in the middle of December, when temperatures were close to freezing every day. Not having hot water under these conditions is completely unacceptable. We repeatedly asked the hotel for a solution, such as a transfer to another hotel or access to another facility where we could at least take a shower. Unfortunately, nothing was offered. The staff only said they were waiting for a technician to fix the problem. After the second day, the situation became insupportable and we decided to move to another hotel at our own expense. The hotel staff assured us that we would be refunded for the nights we did not stay. However, to this day we have not received any refund, and our messages are no longer being answered. Because of the lack of basic services and the unfulfilled promise of a refund, I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

Location is perfect Breakfast can be better

Great location and staff. Bigger room than I expected for Paris. Newly renovated. Metro rumbling under us. But we just got off from a river cruise so it was quieter than the boat engine.

The hotel was very clean and in an excellent location, just a short walk from gare du nord, close to several metro stops that ran to the most popular destinations in the city and close to and many restaurants, bakeries and a park. I felt very safe coming back to my hotel after midnight and appreciated having someone at the desk 24/7. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again without hesitation! A bit dated, no frills but not a big deal!

Very good location. Hotel has very good metro and bus connection, walking distance to louvre. There is personal that cleaning rooms every day, but not in good level.
