The stuff is very nice and helpful. The common area is well stocked with snacks and games for entertainment. Breakfast was excellent. The room is facing the street and is very loud from passing traffic and you can hear people walking in the hallway. I payed more for this hotel, than the other Astotel hotel where I stayed a week before, and that one was in a better location, much nicer and bigger common area, bigger room and overall better hotel. There is no cappuccino machine for guests use in this hotel unless you pay for breakfast, and it is available in the common area in the other two Astotel hotels where we’ve stayed before. This hotel doesn’t even have a proper front desk, just a table and someone sitting behind it. The common area is very small. I expected more for the price I payed.

Beautiful apartment. Cool cups from the USSR. Comfortable living room. The hair is in the bathroom, the dishes had to be washed, the bathroom shelf gets in the way, and because of the small sink, it's impossible to brush your teeth and wash your face without dousing the floor. There are a lot of things that clutter up the apartment, for example, a lot of pots, grips and cups. The window cannot be opened. TV doesn't work.

We appreciated the security measures at the front door and in the rooms. The night desk gentleman at the accueil was always smiling and very kind. We loved having a small reception area with refreshments for the hot days out in Paris and our rooms were quite comfortable. We felt the property was well situated near metro, train, and bus lines as well as numerous businesses and restaurants without feeling overly busy.

It's a 15 minute walk to the Gare de Nord railway station and 25 minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur area. The room had a mini fridge and kettle. It was very clean and the staff were helpful. I would definitely recommend and if returning to Paris this is where we will stay. Nothing.

Overall it was a good value for money - for rate charged room and location were good. Simple check in with helpful staff. Only thing is that one tiny elevator is used for guest and HK team hence you can see them all the times in corridors with big equipment trying to go up and down .

Very friendly staff, the refreshments were replenished every day which was very welcoming because it was a very hot period when we visited. Staff is friendly and breakfast was plenty. Very nice location with a lot of options to travel to other parts of the city. Walking distance to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. We also asked for a room on the street side which was respected and really added to the atmosphere of the city! What can beat eating a baquette on a balcony jn france, right?? Because it’s an old historic building the walls are very thin. Luckily the guests that stayed during our stay also respected this so it didn’t bother us but it’s something to keep in mind but then again: which hotel has sound proof walls :-). Also keep in mind that the street side can be noisy as there’s always a lot going on. Personally we don’t mind and actually think it adds to the atmosphere wherever we stay (New York, Tokyo, San Francisco)
