NOTHING! Feedback Part 1: - I stayed at Hotel Phenix during the June 2026 heatwave and was allocated a room on the 6th floor. which later night receptionist told me that hotel blocked the entire 6th floor due heatwave and safety of guests and i shouldn't have been assigned room on 6th floor. Room was unbearably hot, with no effective cooling, making it almost impossible to sleep. I repeatedly asked to be moved as i felt sick, but was told the hotel was fully booked. Despite this, rooms remained available online, and I was also told that all single rooms were Only on the 6th floor, which did not match the room photos shown on Booking.com. The biggest disappointment was not the weather itself, but how my concerns were handled. I found reception staff dismissive and unhelpful.I hardly slept 2 hours on blocked 6th floor room and was eventually moved to another room after back and forth conversation with reception manager next morning. They kept me at reception with my luggage till check in time 2pm instead of simple internal room transfer which wasted my entire day.The replacement room was still very warm with no fan. It was on ground floor with window directly exposed to main street without any safety barriers so couldn't open it for fresh air. Moreover, it was right next to housekeeping storage room and public toilet, so get very noisy from early morning. Both rooms looked completely different from the photographs used to advertise the property on Booking.com. i mostly stayed outside in shopping malls to keep myself away from heat in my room. When I returned at night, I asked night receptionist for the fan i was initially given to first room which i was promised to be placed in my new room. Night receptionist was rude and at one point the receptionist remarked, "Did you bring that fan from your country?" before explaining that it belonged to the hotel and had been given to another guest. Feedback Part 2: - I sent email to hotel general manager (which i believe was never reached to GM) hoping they would investigate my concerns fairly. Instead, reception manager replied, every issue was attributed solely to the heatwave. My concerns regarding staff behaviour, the difference between the advertised room and the one provided, and the handling of my complaint were simply dismissed. Although I asked the hotel to review CCTV footage to investigate the staff interactions, they declined to do so and maintained that no issues had occurred without carrying out what I consider to be an impartial investigation. The room I received did not reflect the accommodation I had booked. When i mentioned in my email, i was told by the reception management because i have remained at hotel it means i accepted the room. I disagreed with assertion that I “accepted” the room simply because I remained at the hotel. Having travelled to Paris and arrived at a hotel that falsely informed me it was fully booked and assigned room on 6th block floor which made me sick . I had no practical alternative. Remaining in the accommodation under those circumstances cannot reasonably be interpreted as acceptance that the room met the standard advertised or that I was satisfied with the conditions. I fully accept that the hotel could not control the weather. However, it could control how it treated its guests and how it responded when problems were raised. Unfortunately, I felt my concerns were repeatedly dismissed rather than acknowledged. Also No water or basic kettle in room. The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet street behind the Arc de Triomphe with junkies walking or on cycle at night which feels unsafe. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. My advice to future guests is to carefully compare the room you receive with the photographs shown online and to be aware that, if problems arise, you may not receive the level of customer service you would reasonably expect.

Exceptionally clean. Great central location, literally a two minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe and a minute to the nearest metro station. Attentive and accommodating staff. N/A
