The location was great and I liked the decor of the room.

Take my review as someone who enjoys the rough side of cities (but not too rough) and does not need The Ritz when travelling. I was travelling with my teenage son, and initially we were a bit taken aback when we learned this was actually a hostel, but we did get a private room with a private bathroom and - the biggest plus - air conditioning. The room was tiny and the walls were paper, as we noticed on one occasion, but our neighbours were quiet. The hostel has a wonderful terrace with a view to the Sacre Coeur and I enjoyed sitting there after some hectic sightseeing in the city and chatting with the other guests. The neighbourhood is a bit loud as you would imagine, but all the ruckus quieted down for the night. We got breakfast from the supermarkets and cafes on the same street and had our breakfast on the terrace. The hostel has fridges and a microwave in the common area which guests are free to use. Our room was tiny and there was no real place to put our clothes but we managed for the three nights we were there.

Excellent location. Bed fine, toilet and shower fine. Room decor pleasant. Aircon excellent. Room cleaning, toilet paper etc had to be asked for. Lobby was pretty uninspiring

Superb position with a beautiful view on Basilique du Sacré Coeur. The view from the terrace outside the room is top! The lockers in the dormitory are small (a cabin luggage won't fit). A power socket and small light by the bed would be appreciated

The hostel was comfortable and in such a heatwave we welcomed the air conditioning, fridge use and access to drinking water. Hostel was quirky and had character, and overlooked vibrant streets. It was such a fabulous location near sights, shops and numerous cafes/restaurants. Narrow wooden staircase, some rooms high up and only emergency exit was down those stairs , felt unsafe.

The location cannot be beaten and the fittings and linens were really nice. Staff super helpful and kind too. Sad my bath view did not eventuate.. but can see the issue with privacy glass- opening window there would be nice though.

the location was lovely. they provide free coffee in the morning which was nice. the common spaces on the main floor and terrace on the second floor was lovely. the eiffel tower, louvre, arc de triomphe and other sights are easily accessible by walking or the metro (which is not intimidating at all) so i think it’s worth saving on the premium from being close to the sights. staff were amazing and helpful as well. i felt very welcomed. the private restroom in my suite always had a weird old pipe smell coming from the toilet and sink. i care about that kinda stuff so it negatively impacted my experience but maybe it’s not something that would bug other people. the shower was fine, it was just the toilet and sink.

The location is perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. View of Sacre Cour from the room was awesome. Four flights of uneven stairs due to being a very old building.
