Beautiful Staff was bit rough in reception but other’s staff was too good

Great transport links via metro. Simple but yummy breakfast with a good vibe. Loved the pool (you do have to reserve ahead of when you want to go)! Comfy but firm beds. Liked the water refill points. Overall good, however: we had to pay a deposit on top of room and breakfast on entry that we weren't expecting - hoping to get this refunded! Some stains on towels and one of the main lights stopped working mid stay. Could do with having milk for tea and a fridge in room. A bit confusing getting to the pool via the mezzanine but worked it out in the end!

Perfect location for the Expo This is not a 4 start hotel! When we arrived in our room it was little more than a UK Travelodge. It did have aircon but it wasn't great. There was no minibar which was advertised in our booking so went to reception to be told by a very rude gentleman that we do not get a minibar even after I showed him my booking he would not budge. Later on we found another member of staff who agreed to deliver a mini fridge to the room the next morning at 10am. The dirty old fridge arrived as promised and was just placed on the floor in the middle of the room. Went to shower and the handle to turn the shower on came off the wall! We managed to hack it so that we could shower but then the bath would not drain so we were stood in dirty water. Bedding does not stay on the bed so you end up on the dirty mattress. Even wearing slides my feet would be covered in long dark hairs (I have short red hair) it was disgusting. I took my own plates, travel cutlery and mug as I don't like using the hotel ones and they disappeared from my room, they looked nothing like the hotel stuff so could not be mistaken for those. I imagine they were binned! I paid for a late check out of 3pm on my day of departure to still be woken up at 10am by staff knocking on the door. Our key cards stopped working at 12 too! Be aware that you will also pay a city charge on top of your booking. Asked about using the pool while there and was told I needed to book. I asked if I could see it first before I booked so was directed to where it is apparently located. I never found the pool! Upon arriving home we realised my son had left his £200 toothbrush so I contacted the hotel. Apparently it was not in the room ... it obviously was but instead of taking it to lost and found they must have binned it! All in all I felt uncomfortable during my whole stay and would not return. There is actually a hotel with the same name around the corner to the left. It was a 3 star and less than half price and looked nicer.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The room we were given had a strong damp and musty smell. We were traveling with our young son, so this was especially concerning. It was not a healthy or comfortable environment for a child. We immediately informed the reception, and they promised to move us to another room. We went out for a while and came back as instructed, expecting the room change. However, after waiting at the reception for about 30 minutes, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and they could no longer move us. This was very frustrating, especially after being assured that the issue would be resolved. The bathroom sink was also clogged and kept draining very slowly throughout our stay. The mattress was also extremely uncomfortable. We both woke up with back pain, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The towels smelled terrible. When I put one on my face, it had a strong smell of food. The pillow had the exact same smell. This made us question the hotel’s laundry standards. Either the towels and bed linens are not being cleaned properly, or they are being stored in an area where they absorb cooking odors and other strong smells after being washed. The hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but it certainly did not feel like one. The building looks old, the overall condition does not match a 4-star standard, and it was definitely not worth the price we paid for one night. Honestly, I am surprised by all the positive reviews this hotel has received because our experience was far from satisfactory. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Paris.

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Easy to reach by metro or tram. Convenient with restaurants and stores. One elevator broken, and not fixed for several days.

Proximity to public transport The air conditioning wasn’t effective for the first night which made it an uncomfortable sleep. The hot water system also broke meaning we had to have cold showers.

The staff was extremely friendly and polite — I really felt welcomed. The room size was decent for the price we paid, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast definitely needs improvement. Almost everything lacked flavor: the crepes were overly sweet, and the scrambled eggs were completely tasteless. Also, the hotel parking uses a car lift, which my car didn’t fit into. Thankfully, there is another parking garage right across the street, but for €55 per day it felt very poorly maintained and didn’t feel particularly safe to leave the car there.
