Montsouris Orléans Hotel

It was cold enough. But overall everything is fine.

There is no lift in the hotel, which made it very difficult to carry heavy luggage up and down. The washroom is very small, which is manageable, but the water in the shower area does not drain properly, causing water to accumulate.

The room was very cute and comfortable. We we able to do an earlier check, which was nice. We enjoyed our space and felt safe in the area. We also received clean towels for the second day. Appreciated that. Also it was very cold nights, so the airconditioning system was added value. Every morning, the corridors became really noisy with the cleaning staff vaccuuming the corridor and walking in an out of rooms to change bed sheets. The hallway is very small and the walls apparently very thin, so we could even hear the TV´s in the next room early morning.

NOTHING GOOD. 1 star property and negative star experience. This property has BED BUGS. Heed warnings on Google and do not book. It was so unhygienic I had to leave after 12 hours. Sheets were stained.

There is no elevator.

Small, functional room & bathroom. Perfect for a solo traveler. Close to the metro & only a handful of stops from the center of the city. Lovely, yummy bakery within 300 feet from the hotel. The neighborhood has a few shops around w/ fresh fruit & veggies; several cafes & corner stores that are open late. Quiet area at night. I slept soundly w/ an open window. V nice hotel staff, who allowed me to leave my luggage w/ them prior to my check- in time, so that I could walk around & explore w/ out my suitcase/backpack weighing me down. Loved having a good WiFi & air conditioning.

Convenient location, nice French restaurants nearby, seemed like a safe/local area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was a little cold in the room, had to sleep with air con on (worked poorly) and use multiple blankets. (Stayed in may)

The room was not warm enough,it was cold

The room was stinky! We had to open the windows and turn on the AC to make it bearable every time we came back to the room The bathroom window had no curtains,taking a shower in the night, you have to keep the lights off. It was way smaller and older than it looks in most photos. There was no iron in the room. You had to go downstairs to borrow it from the reception. We had a bad experience and would never stay there again!

Though small, the room offered plenty of depository space, 3 different types of lights, a hair dryer, a safe and other useful things. The room cleaning was well done. I particularly liked the interior terrace, the one between the two buildings. The receptionist was understanding and helped with our requests.

Service is good and rooms are clean. The location is nice(nearby metro station) Room size so small and stairs uncomfortable but it’s okay.

Shortly after my checkout I realized that I had forgotten some important personal effects, both economically and emotionally, in my room. I immediately contacted the hotel, but no one seemed to have seen them. They had taken them without authorization. BAD EXPERIENCE.

The location was perfect! The mattress need to be replaced.

I read on the net they accepted pets. When I arrived they refused to give me my reservation because I have a small dog. They refused to refund my money. They told me to get my money from Booking.com and they have refused also to refund my money. 88€ is no small sum to forfeit to at my age of 82.
