I chose this hotel for its location. It is located directly across from the Garde Nord train station. I was arriving late, and leaving early, and did not want to venture out too far. I booked a small single room… And that is exactly what I got. A very small room with a single day pushed against the wall. The elevator opened directly onto a stairwell, and you could easily fall down the stairs late at night or in the dark. The one thing I hated the most was the shower… It was positively too small to even lift your elbows to shampoo your hair. The room does not meet minimum standards to function properly. When I checked out the next morning, no one was at the desk. I waited almost almost 5 minutes, then set my key down by their computer and left.

Great location. Great price. AC was great during heat wave. Polite staff.

I booked this place for a small group including children. I knew it was close to the train station from the description but I didn’t realize it was so close to the train stain. When we got there tired, we had the privilege of an early check-in. The front desk guy was amazing both on our first and last day when he was at the desk. Unfortunately I forgot his name right now (the tall young man who speaks English well). Shout out to all the other staff as well especially the lady in the breakfast area who made sure we had enough to eat when we came down for late breakfast. The views of our room was like from a Parisian movie. I was people watching from the window. I am obsessed with the siren sound and even though I could hear the outside when the windows were closed it didn’t bother us one bit . The location is super convenient, there is the metro underground right there, lots of restaurants, taxis, buses and Gare du Nord international train station. They also accommodated us to leave our luggage on the last day so we could finish our excursions before heading back to Gare du Nord international station. Breakfast was basic but good. Two picky kids had something to eat and that was alright by me. If you are vegan, it would be best to let them know before so they can prepare options for you. Also re safety, I had a cross body bag, and was on high alert for pickpockets etc but was quite safe. We walked all sorts of hours returning 1 AM etc before the trains shut down and we were safe. The rooms were cleaned and we lost nothing. There were some homeless etc and sometimes they asked for change but we were afraid or felt in any firm of danger. People mostly mind their business and go about their lives. If you need disability (wheelchair) accommodations or have mobility issues it’s best to let them know as the stairs are spiral and the steps are short. There is an elevator but is very small. There was no iron/iron-board in the room. They will provide the iron for a 20€ deposit that you get back when you give the iron back.

Great location, good breakfast, lovely old building The air conditioning really struggled, the lift opened onto narrow stairs which was a bit scary

Nothing but proximity to the station. Strong smell of cigarette smoke. View from our window was of a courtyard obviously used for storing broken or discarded furniture and mattresses. Nothing like the pictures on booking.com. Worst room of our holiday, thankfully only booked for one night.

Right next to Gare Du Nord Smell inside the room was like sewerage - we did mention it to staff upon leaving but no real response.

The room was on the 6th floor the garret and small but immaculate and a had a large fan thank god. I’d recommend your hotel but the woman on the front desk made me feel I didn’t have a reservation and not happy to see me there and I had to leave my suitcase and carrier bag behind the desk till 3:00 pm which is very inconvenient being so hot outside. So I left to sightsee till 4:00. Your staff on the desk are unwelcoming and unfriendly. That’s the only downside. Interesting that the only air conditioning was for the office and ground floor. Edeen Hill Very hot room but fan helped.
