Tonic Hôtel Saint Germain

THe hotel was quite close to the Odeon Metro station and in a convenient neighborhood. I went to the Dessange Salon to have my hair washed right around the corner. It should have been a littler more comfortable had the room been bigger but in Paris that is often the case.

Location was perfect. A boutique hotel.so it had character. The price was perfect and the bed was awesome. The shower was great as well.

Superb location, very close to St. Germain des Prés, much less crowded and touristic than St. Michel area. Most cultural attractions within walking distance. Lots of bistrots, brasseries, etc. nearby

The location is really the best part of this hotel. It did have some character and the one staff member we met on the first day was very good. We appreciated the upgrade to a junior suite as we were celebrating our anniversary and my wife's birthday. There were several issues with the room that could be easy fixes but just seemed to be almost neglected. Overhead shower did not work, we had to use the wand the whole time, sink faucet and a shallow sink combination made it so if the water was on it splashed everywhere. mold on the bathroom ceiling, stains on the wall beside the bed. Seeing that this room can get up to 550 Euro was crazy to think. We were never told where the breakfast was. All but 1 staff member was courteous. The others barely said hello. Not the best customer service after our initial check in. Not your fault but the club out front super loud until 4AM.

The room itself was quite nice, a specific style of hotel but it fit well and was in a great location for our trip(10 minutes from everything major, + metros and bus). the bathtub in the room was a nice touch although we didn't use it. an interesting style :) good value for money. quiet enough hotel, small but spacious room. No windows, cant really complain about it considering the hotels location and style but they tried having a window connected to a skylight portion which was okay. The bathtub in the room is a nice touch but there was no actual separate bathroom. the toilet is only separated by a flimsy, not so secure piece of glass. it did the job like but i wasnt expecting just everything to be literally, In, the room.

Breakfast viennoiseries were fresh from the bakery around the corner. The bathroom tub needs to be renewed. Not easy showering without putting water every where. A night club is just across the road from the room on the street side. Quite noisy on a Friday night.

TV was extremely dusty but bed linen was clean.

Location was great. The bathroom and shower could use better cleaning. Loved my bed and room. The best part was the location and staff. Bathroom could have been cleaner

A great location and vibe on left bank. Quiet at night to sleep . Close to restaurants , market and metro . Our room had a very comfortable bed and a spacious area to sit and for our bags . Staff friendly . Nothing .

I have been staying there since it's previous incarnation as Hotel Du Globe. There's not much more of a compliment I can pay it than that. If you like that area its a great hotel to stay at 100%. Enjoy

the restroom needs some work due to molding it’s not good for health

Its the greatest location ever. Plus I have been staying at the hotel from 25 years back or more, its a new name and been upgraded. Location, Location, Location. Its all cool. For the type of property, it's great.

I found a hair in the bed but everything else is clean

Location. Friendly staff. Bath tub. Stairs were a bit tricky.
