Absolute Hotel Paris République

The room was run down and basic. Nothing was strongly objectionable about the room expect for the shower. There wasn’t hot water for the shower.

A small and nice hotel in the heart of Paris. Excellent location, tidy rooms, good breakfast and great price (I stayed in February). I booked my room with breakfast included option. Breakfast was in the cafe close to the hotel, where you are offered a limited menu, you have to choose between a croissant or pain au chocolat and coffees, but I liked that on top of a drink and croissant/pain au chocolat you are offered 2 different jams, a small butter, and a juice. The room where I stayed was a bit small but it is fine for people travelling for a few days. I had a problem with the door lock a few times, card is not always recognized.

Just needed a place to sleep with good transportation access and a good price, and this hotel met all those needs

The receptionists were lovely. The room had a big window/ balcony and a big window in the bathroom as well. It had nice views and a lot of light. The bathroom was horrible. The toilet seat didn’t fit properly, the sink was almost unusable as it filled up with water immediately. There was a hole in the ceiling and water started leaking in the room. The door also literally had a hole in it.

The room was clean, even though the quality of materials was not the best, leaving the opposite feeling. It was confortable. It was located near stores and restaurants. I didn't choose the breakfast option, I cannot review that. It was noisy.

The location is fantastic. Real Paris, but not touristic. All the staff people were very nice and helpful. The hotel is more old-style and funky, with a generally young atmosphere. I knew it in advance, and actually that's what I was looking for. The shower was clean, and that's more important than most things in a room for me. Everything was as expected. Nothing to complain about.

Location was perfect. I really liked the area The place is dingy and yet charming. It may be in the middle of a remodel.

Location and bed comfort. The hotel is surrounded by a nice neighborhood of immigrants which is nice and you can find nice shops there if you are looking for good price souveniers. The bathroom window is quite large, allowing many other apartments to have direct view to it. Also, the toilet lid was broken and falling all the time, causing some small accidents.

So many bugs, my room was infested with bugs. They gave you a mini fan and it barely did anything to cool down the room. Ended up sleeping at a friends hotel. Would not recommend

The location and staff was really good Not enough lights, no air conditioner. There is a ventilator however too small like a portable one and even asking for an extra they refused. The shower does not work with as conventional and you have to press like a button. Its to HOT at least in the summer, not recommended if you are taller than 1,8m because of the low ceiling

Great location , easy access to Republique metro station 200mts away . Small rooms , very uncomfortable mattress , no AC or FAN in da room . Expensive breakfast.

Everything was clean. The guy working the front desk Thursday night was super nice — made me feel really welcome!
