Generator Paris

No curtains on the beds, not the best surroundings

While it is located a bit far from the center, the hostel and the staff both exceeded my expectation

Nothing baths are dirty and has moles in curtains baths. The dorms curtain were ripped. The staff in the check in was rude and unkind. So if it’s your first time in Paris, best try to ask others than your hotel staff.

I almost always forget to check whether towels are included. This time they weren't included in the price, and I know I can't really complain because the information about the additional towel fee was probably stated somewhere. However, I think that providing a towel is a small courtesy that a hostel could offer, especially considering the price of the stay.

Extremely clean and well operated. Location is in a bit of a shady area and the prices for everything they sell aside from the nightly accommodation was shockingly expensive. 10 + euros for a beer at their bar, 13 euros for luggage storage (typically free). 10 euros for cellphone charger. 10 euros for a lock. 10 euros for breakfast. Vegas 5 star resort pricing.

It needs a bit more cleaning

It is a great property, and I’ve had a good time when I stayed there in the past. There was a mix up at the property where they cancelled our room, I had not cancelled it. They put us in an 8 bed dorm which we had to ourselves but it was SO hot in there we couldn’t sleep. The air was not working and it was just SO hot.

Comfort, space, cleanliness and fun... the Generator had it all! Nothing

Good location, spacious room, very nice staff, everything was very clean and the locker was super spacious. Price-wise it was excellent The light of the private shower in my dorm was never off, toilets and sink were opposite sides of the room and the dorm beds didn't have any curtains. It was also quite noisy but during the World Cup this is quite normal

No kitchen facilities

This was the perfect location with the best value for money proposition for our stay in Paris. It was super convenient next to a metro station, staff was very friendly and the room had everything we needed - comfy bed, nice pillows and our own toilet.

The beds are okay, maybe a little hard. Air condition works well! During my stay there was a school using some rooms. So it was very noisy with students every night. Also, I didn't get to have breakfast there because the students took all the space.

I had booked early check in and late checkout in advance Both the services ended up in misery. Checkin time wasted 6 hours by coming early. Could have communicated to me if room was not able Check out time was extended and paid But the card stopped working before time. To my horror, my luggage was kept outside my room, packed in garbage bag without my consent outside the room Lot of time n energy wasted in chasing generator reception n housekeeping staff Management of services

Convenient location north of the city easy to get the metro. The terrace wasn’t always open when they said it was going to be.

The location was great and so were the staff. Beautiful facilities It was hotter inside than outside at times, there were bugs in my room that bit me multiple times badly. I need medical attention now. The hot temp is a breeding ground for bugs

I was expecting the bar open until late, there was not really a relaxing room so if u don't want disturb in the night the room mate there is not a lot of space/sit

I had an issue on my first night, but thanks to the staff member Murat, I was able to have a much more peaceful stay aft
