Nice interiors and books in the foyer Would be better to have larger space and additional staf for the breakfast

The rooms are small but the space is very cleverly used . The location is great , a 25 minute walk to Notre Dame if you fancy strolling, and only 7 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Also the street is very quiet at night. Ok for me the TV remote control did not work. But I was in Paris so I was out 99 % of the time so not a major hassle and I am sure if I had mentioned it , they would have resolved it quickly.

Lovely hotel. Great style and friendly staff. Location was easy to find and to access. Breakfast could have been slightly better in terms of presentation of items.

The hotel is very nice - comfortable, somewhat convenient and walkable to different parts of Paris, and very affordable. The staff is great and I found the rooms to be really well-appointed (lots of outlets!) and comfortable during my stay. To be more specific on the locatoin, the hotel is very walkable to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens and a somewhat longer but manageable walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc. You will probably need to take a train or taxi to farther-flung parts of the city. I liked almost everything about the hotel, however I was not crazy about the fragrance of the linens and toiletry products in the bathroom. Everything was heavily scented (read: chemicals) and as someone with severe fragrance allergies, I was nervous the whole time that something would make me break out in hives. (Ultimately, I did break out in hives, though I can't say for sure if it was the hotel products or something else.) Many hotels seem to have started using cleaner products, and I would encourage Hôtel de L'Esperance to do the same. Also, some visitors have said the rooms at this hotel are large for Paris, but if you're someone who plans to spend a lot of time at the hotel, I don't recommend Hôtel de L'Esperance simply because the hotel is quite small and there aren't a lot of spaces to "hang out." I think it's best for someone with a busy travel itinerary who is basically just coming to sleep.

Super good

Absolutely nothing

Breakfast was nice, room felt a bit small and the elevator is in the middle of two floors which was a bit tricky with luggage but no biggie The tube felt rather unsafe, is a bit tall is there is nowhere to grab or support yourself getting in or out of it

Rue Pascal is a very quiet street near to Rue Moufftard and lots of restaurants. The hotel has been completely remodeled since we last stayed and they were very creative with the use of space in the small rooms, including in the bathroom. The shower was very large for Paris and water pressure and hot water was great. There were plenty of electrical outlets, including by the bedside. The room had a refrigerator and Nespresso machine which we did not use. I would have preferred a hot water kettle, but in the breakfast room there was access to the coffee/hot water machine that was very much appreciated. The generous and tasty breakfast was most definitely worth the extra charge and the back room with natural lighting from the roof was charming and comfortable for a longer breakfast with our friends. Staff was friendly and helpful and it was nice having 24 hour attendance. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The only suggestion would be for more/better lighting in the rooms.

This hotel was, like Goldilocks said, juuuuust right for several days' stay in Paris. The room was small-ish, but, excuse me, it's Paris. It was also clean, the bathroom modern, the breakfasts a great way to start the day, and the location <chef's kiss> excellent. There's a bus stop a block away in one direction, and two blocks away in another, as well as a Metro stop just a few short blocks away. Nearby are several cafes, some excellent restaurants, and just walking in the neighborhood is a joy.
