LOCATION is The Best! Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have selected this hotel. After staying there, I was definitely disappointed. It was uncomfortable, but there were redeeming features. The desk clerk on our second & third days (July 9 & 10) was wonderful and did many things to help. The evening clerk also seemed very nice, although we didn't interact with him much. The breakfast room was cute but the tiny tables were very crowded. We really liked the breakfast, which was probably more affordable than anything similar that we could have gotten nearby, and it was very convenient to eat before we started our day. The woman who checked us in on July 8 was not friendly or helpful. She refused to honor the price agreed upon, even with my email confirmation. The hotel had agreed to my request to change from a room with one bed to a room with two beds when a friend joined me on the trip. After some discussion she said something about talking to the manager the next morning, but I insisted that we stay the night for the stated price. The matter was dropped and I didn't hear anything further. This was the most expensive room I have ever booked, and the location is the only reason it would be (almost) worth the price. The decor doesn't really live up to the photos, which depict a charming French botique hotel. We had a very plain room with two twin beds jammed up against each other, and we had about 18" at the foot of the beds to reach the other side (which was maybe 2 feet from the window wall) and the TINY closet. Because of the TV mounted on the wall at the foot of the beds, it required effort and balance to navigate, especially at night when the lights were out. There was very very little space to put our luggage. The air conditioner didn't cool the room in the Paris heat wave (high 90s or more), so we were given (and very much appreciated) a portable AC unit. This helped, but wasn't as effective as it could have been because it had to be vented with a large plastic hose through an open window. It also took up valuable real estate in that corner with access to the closet. The bathroom was new and very nice. But very tiny and required sitting sideways on the toilet, as there was no room for knees! It should have been installed on the other wall, but there probably wasn't any plumbing there. The pocket door to the bathroom had a a magnetic catch that was so strong that we couldn't close it unless we used the key to hook the tiny round hole in the side of the door and carefully pull it to close.

Loved the location and the staff were nice.

I loved the location, a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral in one direction, 5 minute walk to Boulevard St Germaine in the other. Walkable to dinner, to catch a cab, to take the metro. Quiet little street. Beds were comfortable, a/c cooled efficiently, great bathroom with shower. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast croissants, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee were perfect for me. I liked everything.

The location was excellent! The staff were super! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Within few minutes walking from Notre Dame Cathedral. It was a very hot week in Paris, but unfortunately the A/C was not working in some rooms, and was keep not very cool in others.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra but very good.

Room very small--no place for bags. Very good breakfast, but did not like having to cook our boiled eggs

Everything went well. Ir's my 8th time in Paris, and I love to stay in the 5th, but I didn't know about that hotel. The room was decent size, clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, wi-fi worked well. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely will consider this hotel if I come to Paris again. The shower head in room 15 was a little strange and didn't always stay on, switching back to the 'rain shower'. but it was a minor problem.

Close to Notre Dame and other tourist sites and the metro. A few stairs after taking the elevator. Not bad.

Location is the best I wish I had a queen vs 2 double beds
-
Comfortable, well located, nicely decorated. The thermostat didn’t work. (Apparently they could not fix immediately) So our room was very hot. They supplied a temporary floor fan, which helped a bit).

Location, clean & Friendly staff. None

Excellent location for touring Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and Cluny Museum. Many dining options are nearby. Property was recently renovated and updated. The platform bed frame corners protrude out and should be protected.

Close to a metro stop & a great little Italian restaurant & others. Breakfast was lovely. Can't think of anything

The room was tiny and decorated in a very overpowering style - very busy patterns in a small space is not relaxing. The bathroom nor bedroom had nowhere to hang a wet towel or any small laundry items that I'd washed.

There was not anything that I did not care for. Everything was great

The hotel was in a really great location for exploring the city. Many great restuarants and cafes nearby The room was really small
