The hotel was quaint. Great location and best of all, there was AC Bathroom was very small but I understand it can’t be what we’re used to

Great location! Clean, comfortable, and a very unique building. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. The neighborhood felt like home after just a couple of days. I would return to this hotel. I liked everything!

The location is superb. Staff is nice especially the front desk people who were extremely nice and helpful. The building is old. Not very well maintained. I understand that the owner wants it to look authentic, but they can still do that while keeping a better look and feel.

It's not a bad thing per se, but the stairs are quiet narrow, so it's a bit of a hassle to go upstairs with luggage.

Hotel is centrally located to many activities and metro stations. Staff very helpful when needed. Clean and quiet. Ample space for suitcases and a wardrobe to hang cloths. Daily breakfast was lacking for the price. Could be a little better. Would be nice to have a coffee machine that brews the coffee vs the automated machine where you choose. The hotel room literally only had 2 plugs for charging plugs or devices. The bathroom did not have any plugs and the hairdryer was literally hardwired into the wall. The cord was short and this made it difficult to dry your hair, especially if you are short like me. There was no "shower" but instead a shower head attached to a hose that did not have a way to hook it up high. It was rather tough to shower as you had to soap up while in the bathtub then stand to rinse off. If you are tall, this is a challenge. I know the hotel is going to have a major renovation and hope these things are addressed. I would come back and stay as the hotel is close to everything and walkable.

Great location

The location is great and also the staff were friendly. The room was small and smelled moldy. The shower head was disgustingly dirty that I did not use during my 4 day stay, luckily it had a hand held shower. The bathroom sink was clogged and even though I complained about it wasn’t fixed.

Fantastic location. Very helpful kind staff. Could use more lights in room.

This is a beautiful historical building. The quirkiness adds to the charm. Nothing

The location was excellent. The staff were professional and cordial. We were in Room 17 on the 3rd floor. All of the ceiling beams were rotted and cracked and the beam over the VERY LUMPY bed was broken so badly that I could see through it. The floor sagged badly in the center of the room at least 8 to 10cm below the level at the walls. This hotel is UNSAFE for ANY use by people. We were fearful of an immediate collapse at any moment. I strongly recommend a city.inspection as possible to remove the operating license until PROVEN to be safe. On another point, the elevator (lift) is so small that I can't stand sideways in it. The tiniest lift that I have ever seen: less than 40cm deep. This is also unsafe. I'm not including photos so that you will send someone to INSPECT this hotel.

Staff was wonderful, especially Walid who went out of his way to give us directions.

I was warmly welcomed at the reception.Walid was particularly nice and helpful all the way.Great breakfast and as for the location, it's simply wonderful...indeed,it's in the heart of the latin quarter!

The staff was pleasant and helpful. When I asked to move to a different room, they made it happen quickly. That room was very nice with a pleasant view to the apartments across the street - flower boxes, etc. The location is excellent. Easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Grocery store next door, fabulous bakery a block away, 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. Our first room (#12) was barely larger than the small double bed it contained. We couldn't walk around the bed. No room for luggage or anything really. Maybe okay for a single person, but not for two. Unless they both only had back packs. But as I mentioned above, we asked to move and the staff was able to accommodate us. That room was large and had two windows on to the street which was nice.
-
The charm and history, beds were so comfortable and room kept clean. Absolutely fantastic location next to the Seine and across from Notre Dam, walk to the Leuove, best cafes and shops in St Germaine...metro....train. No need to rent a car or for the most part, even a taxi or Uber! No sink soaps provided, towels were in short supply and clean but not soft

Location Funky at best, tiny bathroom, 12” from toilet to wall, lighting poor, elevator very narrow.

Wonderful small hotel in the heart of one of most charming neighborhoods in Paris. Superb staff, decent breakfast, the building full of character. Room was spacious, bed is very comfy, would definitely stay here again.
