I liked the location, it’s perfect if you want to explore mont matre for a few days. There are rats and signs of bedbugs. The pillows, sheets and walls were covered in (blood)stains, the furniture was broken/in-stable. There is no proper ventilation so during hot times the room doesn’t cool down. It’s also very loud, you can hear the guests on the floor beneath you and outside it’s very noisy aswell. The pillows and bed were very hard so no guarantees u get a good night sleep. When we reported the rats the staff was unhelpful, told us to go back to bed. When booking.com got involved they didn’t contact professionally back, we saw on google that they acted agressive towards customers in the past regarding the same complaints+delete reviews… we felt unsafe and unheard by staff. Don’t know why this place is still open and on booking.com

Location and staff No lift so it was extremely hard/difficult to take 6 pieces of luggage up the narrow spiel stairs and no air conditioning

We love the bed and the view of it, being able to see the street. Maybe the fact that it didn’t has an elevator, but it didn’t matter really.

Nothing. I left. Didn’t stay at this property even though I paid for the entire night. I knew i was in trouble when my room key was an actual key, not a card. I’ve never had a room with two doors. Why two? Both were unlocked when I entered. Very old facility. One curtain was hung on the rod backwards while the other curtain had no finial on one end so if u tried to pull the curtain close, the rod fell out of the bracket. It was steaming hot inside… no AC, no fans and if u opened the windows, it was just rooftops that anyone could easily walk through. I didnt feel safe at all. Asked the kind gentleman at the reception desk for two glasses and we got two random glass beer mugs, which were rinsed out. Coffee maker but absolutely nothing else to go with it… no coffee, no mugs, sugar, etc. The room absolutely did not look like the picture in the Booking.com advertisement so that was very deceptive and disappointing. The only positive was the very nice gentleman who assisted me at check in.
