Location, staff & breakfast. Less expensive
-
Great staff, great water pressure, located right next to the subway system
-
Right across the street from the train station, the staff were so very nice!, the room is comfortable, they have breakfast, it's my hotel at Montparnasse from now on. A little dated bathrooms.

AC not working and staff were like it is illegal to start the AC in France. Maybe it is, but then other hotels had their AC working, especially in this week when it was the hottest ever week in Paris. Special mention for John who was kind and thoughtful. Made it very easy for us. Very rarely we find people like him going the extra mile for the guests.

near the train station and to all public transport location of the hotel

Location was good since we had a train the next day. The elevator stopped at the 5th floor and we’re on the sixth floor. Hard stet of steps to manage. Assumed since the listing said elevator stairs would not be an issue.

Property a step away from gare montparnasse and near everything. Room size

Close to Montparnasse station, self serve laundry nearby, has a small lift. Shower was wonderfully powerful. Wifi good. Firm mattress. The breakfast options were very basic, but typical for this area. Not sure I'd opt for it again.

I had easy access from the montparnasse station after a long day of travelling, just two crossings of the street & easy & quick check in with nighttime hotel clerk, & off to bed for my flight tomorrow. Thank you.

Breakfast
-
Good location but had to walk down steps and through an outdoor cafe to enter. Dark hallway when getting off elevator
-
Too noisy not well insulated windows especially since they all face the street. Also the breakfast had very limited choices. One time the door was closed in front it ..was only eight o clock pm and at 6 am no-one there to take your key. One time rude staff member at desk.

Location Nothing

Service from other staff aside from Jean Claude, was bare minimum at best. The room was simple.
-
Close to the railway station and subway stop. Unpleasant smell of pillows and blankets, which most likely is coming from sweat. Even the pillowcase and blanket cover are changed, you could smell the stink from inside. Too much restless noise from early morning to deep night because of traffics on the crossroad and the crowed in the restaurant under the windows. Breakfast is too simple - only bread, ham, some drinks.

Excellent staff none

Excellent air conditioning and wifi. Comfortable clean and quiet room. Friendly staff. Superb location across the street from the Gare Montparnasse. Restaurant downstairs was also great. Older property and decor could be updated.

The location The property Small room Small lift

I like the location because it’s literal in front of the train station so if you are tired it’s perfect to sleep for the night. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night. It was loud all night. My mother and I couldn’t sleep because you can literally heard everything from the others rooms, even the ones on the other floors. It was a weekday and it was loud all night.

The location was excellent for an early train from Gare Montparnasse. There is nothing we didn't like, but travelers should understand that Hotel Miramar is located on a busy street. While we wouldn't choose this property for an extended stay, it was perfect for one night; clean, comfortable, and convenient
