Location was good. The breakfast room was attractive, although the wait staff struggled when it was full. Our room was a disappointment. Although clean, I found it poorly designed and maintained. The bathroom shower valve leaked. It was difficult to regulate the overhead shower so it didn't splash out. The sink drained slowly and smelled from mold. The toilet seat was very small. The bedroom door didn't close properly. The rug was frayed and curled at one edge, creating a tripping hazard. One bathrobe was missing a belt loop. Bedroom lighting was adequate, although one lamp bulb flickered from time to time.

Location is great but anything else is varying from a 4 star hotel Rooms are smaller than it seems on pics, but more importantly hotel is no where close to being a 4 star. With its non conventional lobby/restaurant area and tiny little balcony at the back surrounded with buildings, not much motivation to stay in the hotel except for sleeping In the room.

The staff was outstanding, ensuring that we had anything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing, and the afternoon tea and cake was most enjoyable. They arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport, and take us to the train.

The staff were wonderful, the location excellent (very close to metro and the street was quiet), and the room was small but comfortable. However, the fire alarm went off two times for 15 minutes each in the morning and there was not even an acknowledgment for the inconvenience let alone the ear-piercing noise. I stayed here for 8 nights @ $575 per night. Before departing, I asked if I could get a coffee. The front desk said “no problem” and didn’t charge me. HOWEVER, just before leaving, the front desk manager asked me how many coffees I had (one) and asked me to pay €4. It’s not about the €4. (I’d have been happy to add it to my bill as I checked out.) It was that the manager (a woman with short dark hair) made a HUGE point of charging me. I think she was teaching her front desk a lesson. But she did so at a greater expense. It was awkward for me! (Not to mention that a free cup of coffee to a guest that just spent $4,600 with you isn’t the worst idea in the world. ) What a shame to blow a guest’s experience and opinion of your hotel in literally the last minute. UPDATE: After I left, they charged my credit card for two minibar items I did not eat and a second coffee that I did not order. I had to wait for the hotel manager to be in (four days later) to have the charges reversed. No apology was issued for how I was treated and I was asked to remove my review.

One of the favourite places in Paris, cozy , beautiful and stylish. All the personnel are as friendly and helpful as always and it’s always great to see them again. Perfect location in St.Germain. Love it

Location, service, friendly helpful staff. Quality linens. Honesty bar. Delicious breakfast. Would prefer a softer bed. That’s personal though.
