Quaint and beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance to many major attractions. Great cafes and close to all transportation. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. There is nothing I would change.
-
Great room, location, and staff.

There was a mix up with the rooms and bar wasn’t always open

Great location. Very pretty. Comfortable room. It felt like there was some staffing issues going on. There was no one at the desk when we came back at night. The bar was closed when we invited people for a drink early evening. But no one told us it felt like there were some kinks to be worked out, but I would stay there again because they were all superficial.

No bartenders and small staff for food options

Amazing location ! Perfect for those who would like to discover Saint Germain des Prés. Close to Le Bon Marché, Musée D'Orsay, Palais Bourbon... The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Enough space for two people and some lugages. It is not always the case in Paris. And finally, the team is amazing. From our arrival for check-in to our last minutes. A nice place to discover. We could not have a drink in the hotel bar on Sunday night as it was closed. Room was great but sometimes missing a bit of light, especially when you are on the first floor.

Staying in Paris during tour season is unavoidably expensive. The staff, breakfast, room, and location were wonderful. Nothing

Beautiful room, clean & comfortable. Welcoming staff that was able to accommodate early check in after a long flight.

Ambience too dark, very small rooms

Lovely boutique property located in the best area in Paris. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the location could not be more convenient. Walking distance from the sites, however tucked away on a quiet street away from the crowds.

super cute, great location small room for price

Location was key for us. It was a short walk to multiple metro lines. It was extremely convenient to get to all the attractions on our itinerary. The faculty itself was incredible. It was quiet and provided us a great place to recharge for the next day.

The location is the best. So many of the museums are walking distance. Close metro stations. Best bakery at the corner… Paris was magnificent Location.Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff

Breakfast was very good. Servers really nice. Dinner was very good. Front desk staff were helpful and answered all our questions and offered suggestions when asked. Room was dark. Toilet room door would not stay closed. Could not sit on the sofa because TV was in the way.

I felt welcomed the moment I walked in, and the staff were very attentive to my needs. Style & decor
-
room is small and overrated, staff is not trained. 4 stars can not be assigned to the room of 12 sqm

The Location was Fabulous! The rooms like most hotel rooms in Paris are a bit on the small side. I guess "cozy" is the right word. comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Had a great stay at L'Opale Noire! Easily accessible by metro and located in a quiet neighborhood, we loved the walkable location equidistant between the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame (~30 min walk to either). There's a wonderful boulangerie (Gosselin) at the end of the street perfect to grab a croissant and a coffee and walk less than 5 min over to the riverfront. The room was clean, comfortable, and definitely spacious by Paris standards, plus an elevator to get our bags up to the 5th floor was so appreciated. The A/C worked great as well! Staff were friendly and welcoming, there's an on-site restaurant with a cute courtyard as well. I'd definitely stay here again on a return trip to Paris! Not really a con, but the quiet neighborhood is tucked away from the tourist hotspots, so if you want to be directly in the hustle and bustle, this may not be the spot for you.
