Mercure Paris Bastille Marais

Everything. It has a fantastic location in the 11th. Close to Bastille, lots of cafés and restaurants and out of the “ tourist zone “ Our room on the 8th floor was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the mini fridge was great for storing, the bathroom had both a shower and tub and was super modern. And the view of Sacré Coeur was an added bonus. There was complimentary coffee at all times, water, and delicious French marshmallows (IYKYK). Additionally, the staff was so friendly and helpful. NOTHING. Everything was perfect!

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Typical size for Paris hotels but had everything you could want for a one week stay. It's located outside of the main attractions in the 11th which may seem far away but it's steps away from the metro line and in a local neighborhood offering its own fantastic vibe. Especially if you're a food lover and love trying various cuisines. Great brasseries close by. We really loved the friendly and helpful staff. They were always welcoming, and went above and beyond to be pleasant and offer suggestions. Very professional and pleasant for both business and leisure travelers. We look forward to staying again.

for a 4 star hotel it was odd that was no mini fridge, no slippers, no bath robes, no mugs, etc.

Staff was amazing and super sweet. We stayed during the heatwave but they helped us through it! Location is next to the metro which is so convenient

It was very clean, staff was lovely and helpful and there were marshmallows at the front desk!

Spacious modern room and amazing views over Paris for a great price. The staff is super kind and forthcoming as well. We’ll definitely come back

ecommended Staff was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful; breakfasts were exceptional; location in the Marais was great. (Nearest Metro stop was less than one block away.) Nothing comes to mind, quite honestly.

Staff was kind, easily accessible location, seamless check in/out process — and extra convenient to have a huge bike box with us that we easily brought up in the elevator to our room! No complaints, better than budget value, but nothing crazy to rave about

The room was great! Comfortable and clean. I had a nice view facing the main road but it wasn't too loud for me. The breakfast had much more variety than I was expecting and I loved the reusable water bottles. I wish I could've adjusted the thermostat to my liking because I got a bit cold in the evenings but that was minor.

The staff were excellent and were there to help with any need or trouble we had. The elevator was not working and one day the room was not made up.

Great location. Metro station, grocery shops and restaurants few steps away. Very small room. On our first night (Friday), it was very quiet so we had a good night sleep. The next night (Saturday), it was HELL. There was constant sound coming from a back building roof top from about 11pm-3am! It was an obnoxiously loud throbbing drum and at times obscene sound, repetitive, hypnotic and dark like in a primal ceremonial ritual. It was very unsettling and disturbing. Strangely, there was no sign of people talking or chanting or singing. We advised the hotel of the sound the next morning but they seem not to be aware of it.

This is a great location for enjoying the nightlife of the Marais. The rooms are small, but light and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast has a decent buffet selection. The room was too warm to sleep in the morning without any way of adjusting the temperature.
