Great location and great host! Nothing

A genial host offering a warm welcome. The apartment is well located for access to everything by a great public transport network or on foot. The room was clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. A good breakfast was available within flexible hours. The room facilities were good. The only shortfall was a mini fridge for water provided when the weather is hot. The property has no outside space, but that is understandable with its location.

The location was fantastic and the facilities were very nice. Before you think about booking this accommodation I implore you to scroll to the bottom of the reviews and look at the negative comments. Look at what’s recorded and the responses from the owner and you will feel the arrogance of this man. We assisted some other guests to gain access to the property when the owner had not responded to them. When we let them in the accomodation I called out to the owner Jean on three occasions and he did not respond. It should not be my job to register these new guests so we left them in the entrance for them to continue to try and contact the owner. They were a respectable German couple, nothing untoward, and as a retired Police Officer of 30 years I should be able to judge. I might also say we had been let into the building by other occupants without any question. In any case we were confronted by Jean when we were going out and he commenced to reprimand, not me, but my wife about letting people into the property. I told him to speak to me, yet he continued to reprimand my wife causing her to get upset and was in near tears. I told him to speak to me and I tried to explain our actions but he would not listen . I can understand his concerns but these people had a booking, they had tried to gain access and I also tried to call him when we entered the accomodation, he would not have any of it, and I believe he was on the verge of evicting us. He stated he needed to greet new guests at the front door so he could determine whether he would even grant them access, this is after they had paid for their booking. So be aware even if you have paid, if he doesn’t like the look of you, you won’t be allowed in. OMG! I have travelled extensively and have never experienced anything like it.

The host was very accommodating; we arrived before noon and he allowed us to drop-off our luggage; he also had the room ready hours before check-in. I would stay here again. The place was withing 30 minutes walking to the major Paris attractions. Plenty of places to eat near the B&B. Breakfast was limited but was good and enough to get us starting for the day. The walls are not sound proof but noise is kept to a minimum because its an adults only B&B and everyone was respectful during our stay.

The property is intimate, clean, and comfortable. Perfect for those who want a more personal touch instead of a big hotel.

The property is located very central, right next to a metro station. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The owner was really helpful and nice, we had an amazing stay and will definitely choose this place again for our next visit. -

We had the fortune to stay here again and cannot recommend it enough - it ticks all the boxes Importantly it is a chambre,d'hote as the proprietor Jean Etienne is on site.He is very hands on and always available for advice. The rooms are very spacious and floor to ceiling window allow light to enter. Our room had a sofa and low table and a writing desk. The storage was ample The shower room is well equipped with a high end range of toiletries The breakfast importantly was included in the room tariff and in addition to standard French continental breakfast fare there was an array of cheeses and hams/proscuito Nothing
