Paris Hôtel Le Mediterraneen

room not cleaned and prepared till 8PM with dirty laundry and no towel. not allowed to keep your room key when you exit the hotel, not convenient/stressful when you come back at night. expensive for a 3rd floor room with no elevator/no air conditionning

Room was small & poorly furnished with tiny bathroom and no air conditioning. The hotel has no breakfast facilities.

Close to train station It was hot with a broken fan close to bar that was loud till 1am

The location The smell in the room was terrible. No fan or AC. Very noisy in the morning

Close to gare de lyon and 24hr checkin for late arrival and early departure. Good shower and spacious room. The room was roasting hot...windows all closed so I threw them open, no air conditioning at all and not even a ceiling fan. The only fan in my large double room which could have accommodated 4 people was one table fan.that I had to position next to my bed. I did sleep eventually for a few hours. Receptionist was monosyllabic and did not give me any Info eg wi fi password...no I do in the room either

That the Hotel was 5 min walk from Gare de lyon station, bed and pillows was comfortable and room was clean, my room had a newly refurbished Bathroom that was good., overall i had a good stay for 1 night, i booked because i had a 06.30 train to Barcelona, and hotel was ideal for that. How warm the room was, to be fair Paris was 37c and i already knew the Hotel had no Air conditioning, i opened window but the noise from Neighbouring restaurants was quite loud.

Proximity to Gare de Lyon Reviews did not describe what my experience was; Cold bare rooms, no bottled water to buy or tea/coffee facilities. Bedding minimal. Dining room not available for breakfast. No customer service.

Location is good very close to Gare de Lyon. The room is manageable and the bed was comfortable My stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. There are several issues future guests should be aware of: No lift available, which meant carrying heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The staircase is extremely narrow and feels unsafe, especially in the event of an emergency. Construction work was ongoing, creating an overall uncomfortable environment. The internet did not work throughout my stay. There was a noticeable smell upon entering both the hotel and the room. The room was not properly cleaned. Only one old towel was provided, and the bathroom bin was loose and dirty. Several facilities were not functioning: The switch beside the bed did not work The heater was not working, but weather was not cold so didnt feel it but might be very uncomfortable on cold weather Overall, the hotel did not meet basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness or safety. I hope management addresses these issues and I share this so other travellers can make an informed decision.
