WS Champs Elysées - Ponthieu

The apartment is too small for 4, it should only have 1 room. We did not cook there, because the kitchen is in one of the rooms, right near the bed. It could use some renovations. No air conditioner.

We loved the location of this little apartment!! Located right off the Champs Elysées we couldn’t ask for a better location. There is a delicious Pâtisserie at the bottom and it’s right by the metro for easy commuting around Paris. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would absolutely stay here again just for the location! We were unfortunately here in a heat wave but our hosts gave us many fans. The apartment is very tight for 4 adults. There is also a bar below it that is loud on weekends.

The ledge outside the windows are full of trash and dirt. It’s an eyesore when looking out the window.

Great location, next to everything. We got the 3 person room for 4 nights. First, I get a message saying that check-in would have to be delayed since the room wasn’t ready, but as a compensation I would get an extended check out time to 12. We were fine with that. You have to hop over at least 2 steps to get to the room, and then once again to get to the toilet. We were also fine with that, but it can be a hazard. What I wasn’t fine with was that after arriving late and heading straight to bed, we discovered multiple blonde hairs on the bed linens. We are all brunettes. We notified them and they immediately changed the sheets. After the second night they offered to change the towels for us, which of course we agreed. We had bundled the towels on the corner for convenience, only to discover them right were we left them when we came back late at night. I messaged them asking what happened and to please change the towels. Their response was “Sorry for the inconvenience. However, it seems that our cleaning service confirmed to us that they have done the necessary”. The room was not entered at all! I expressed that and was notified that they would come the next day. They did, but only left 2 towels instead of 3 and did not take the old ones. Finally, before our check out, I confirmed twice about check out time of 12pm. They confirmed this. On the day we were supposed to check out we went to breakfast, only to come back at 11:15 to find our room locked with our luggage inside. I had to call them for them to unlock the room. Luckily our train got delayed and we were still able to make it, but it was so stressful. I would not stay here again and would definitely not recommend it for more than 2 nights or more than 2 people.

Very dissapointed with WS Champs. We were cancelled from our original place because of electrical issues. They said they had another room with the same address which we accepted. As we reached the location after a long uber ride, we were given another address in another area of town. There is no way to reach anyone except by whatsapp or booking.com chat. It was too late for us to cancel and find a new place. They said they would give us breakfast but it never came. They did offer a small refund. This is supposed to be a two bedroom but it is acutally one bedroom with no room for luggage. The other bedroom is in the middle of the main room where there is a table only. I would never book with WS Champs again.

Location definitely great but just next door there is a Night Pub. So if you have no problem with noises, then it is oke 1. No AC so you definitely need to open your window, and there goes all the inconvenience noises 2. Poor Bed sheet quality...truly like a ragtag 3. Torned Towell on every shade and the towel looks like ragtag which I won't even use to mop the floor. Imagine you'll be using this to your body 4. There was Air fan in the ceiling but they only function if you turn on the light. So in the summer night where we need some breeze, you'll need to turn on the light to make the air fan function. If you can sleep with lots of light then you'll be oke but if you can't...then imagine how inconvenience it was ..plus if you opened the window, you'll get the noises 5. The apartment was facilitated with TV but the weird thing, the remote control was not provided with battery. Apparently to operate the remote and turn on the TV, you'll need to bring or buy your own battery, hahaha...it seem like there was no standard check by the Host or management so they have no idea of the maid truly clean the apartment and prepare the amenities properly 6. If you like shopping, this is the place to stay. It's very close to The Champs-Élysées, yet it's quiet. There is a subway station within walking distance. The cleaning ladies were very nice to allow us to store our luggage before our checking-in time while they cleaned the room. It is equipped with a mini fridge, a microwave, and a stove. It is good value for a single traveler or a couple for a short stay. It is very tiny. But for the price and location, it is of good value. It is not accessible as it has steps to get into the room and the shower. There is a ceiling fan, but no AC. The general area outside of the room has litter. The bedding smelt like body odor.

Location is strategic and can visit some spot just by walking. The staff is also very helpful and quick to handle complaints. The first night the neighbors were very noisy with very loud music playing so it disturbed my sleep. But the next day it was no longer there after sending a complaint to the booking.com staff.
