AC Hotel Pasadena

Beautiful Old Town location across from Urth Cafe. Very upscale feel. Upscale breakfast but at extra cost. Rooms nicely appointed

When the hostess seated us she said we had 90 minutes no more. We should have left then. When we asked for cold beer (Modelo or Heineken) we were offered first a nasty “lager” that tasted like grapefruit juice gone bad, then a nasty apricot-flavored beer. They said they had nothing else cold. Food was salmone crudo (OK but in a watery sauce), tartufe fries (excellent) and a wagyu burger (OK). $225 all in. Won’t do that again. We left early the next morning.

Overall it was a pleasant experience from checking in to checking out.

AC Pasadena is newer so everything is still in good condition. The rooms are very clean. Lobby area is airy and they have fire pits around outside to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows weren't as comfortable as we had hoped. The feather pillows were too flat. If you stay on the 5th flr, you may need to ask where on the 5th flr because our room was right under the restaurant so there was some loud banging of large furniture, chairs, or heavy items being dropped on the floor. The noises were for a short time but it was startling and too loud. Hotel location is good. Self parking across the street worked out great for $8 for 24/hrs. You could pay for the parking garage or the valet but we didn't need it.

This is a great place to stay

Great location. Very nice room for area. Valet parking expensive but staff there is fantastic. Breakfast is lame. Downstairs bar is nice and open with good service.

Excellent stay! Good coffee to start the day. I’m afraid we didn’t find the breakfast buffet interesting enough to warrant $20/pp but there are so many options in the area that there were plenty of alternatives. The fitness room was quite good.

The staff of the hotel are AMAZING!!! They go.oit of their way to get to know the guest and no request is too small, nor to.big. We stayed for 7 days/ 6 nights. We stayed there for my doctoral graduation. The staff remembered when the day was and congratulated me. This was not contrived but they genuinely cared, even the valet guys were amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has to travel to Pasedena and the next time I'm in Pasedena, I will definitely stay there.

Beautiful new, high tech facility right on Colorado Blvd in the Playhouse district. Very open and well designed lobby / bar area. All furniture and fixtures in the rooms modern and still smelled new. Bathrooms sparkling clean. The rooftop restaurant/ bar is definitely a plus. Staff very helpful in getting me a view room, recommending the next-door $20 garage, and the across the street wonderful Urth Café. Many great restaurants, Playhouse district, Old Pasadena, and the USC Asian Museum all walking distance. Almost didn't stay here because of the $50/nite parking. Garage next door only $20.

We enjoyed our overnight stay, entire property and room seemed almost new. Very clean. Only gripe would be the $50 charge for “valet parking” my vehicle.

The wifi is not complementary, you have to join a membership (yes it's free but doesn't change the fact of having to sign up for something). Therefore it is not free as they want your information for spam blasting your email with ads. The lobby smelled of cleaning chemicals. Only options for super soft zero supportive pillows on the bed. Staff were super nice and hotel was very clean. Parking was a nightmare. For the price I probably will never be staying here again but it was a fine hotel.

The property was in a great area, and within walking distance, near shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is very clean, modern design, rooms were perfect it has everything you need.
