Jungle Haven Resort Central Ubud

This is my 2nd time staying at Jungle Haven or "Jungle Heaven" as I like to call it. Fery and his staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I stayed in 205 for 3 nights and 102 for 2 nights. Both rooms have the same amentities, except 205 has a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. The beds are pillows make for comfy sleeping. The peaceful, tranquail setting melts your stress away. It's a well loved place! Nothing.

The great infinite pool, comfy room with nice balcony. And the garden is gorgeous. I love the garden I think the hotel should change its breakfast system. Right now, when you go to the restaurant in the morning, the staff gives you a menu and you have to choose one breakfast item. I think a buffet would be much better because guests can see the food before choosing and decide what they like or what they can eat. In my case, I ordered something from the menu, but when it was served, I realized I couldn’t eat it. If I had been able to see the food beforehand, I would have chosen something else.

Room smelt musky. Lots of stairs, resturant was great for breakfast but dinner was terrible. A little far for me to walk into central ubud.

The service was exceptional! I met some of the kindest most gracious Balinese people that work here. Special mention to Fery, Wayan, Kadek and Tika, thank you so much for your warmth, smiles and helpful advice. Truely heartfelt experience in our daily interactions. The food was amazing! Restaurant was open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and although I didn't eat here for every meal, the meals that I ordered were fresh and full of flavor and value for money. The room was a good size for 1-2 people. I was in room 203 at the top of the property which was recently renovated. It had a comfy king size bed, bath tub and shower, wardrobe, TV (didn't use though), refrigerator, kettle and a balcony with garden views down into the property - this was definitely the highlight. Big sliding doors that opened up to the views and sounds outside and with lots of beautiful natural light coming into the room. The air conditioner was serviced during my stay which kept the room nice and cool. Free Wi-Fi worked very well from the room and throughout the property. The pool at the bottom of the property was stunning and refreshing to cool off in. The sound of running water from the fountains into the pool was a welcomed comfort. You also had views of the pool from the restaurant which was magical. The area was just off a main road but tucked further in so you still get the peace and quite while still being close to the central area of ubud (10min walk). In the other direction you have the the Yoga Barn (10 min walk). Jungle Haven Resort was full of lush tropical plants and also backs onto a river which borders giant trees and gives it that jungle feel. Service at the front desk is 24hr and they are more than happy to organize day trips with a driver, massages, nail salon appointments ect. Nothing to mention here!

The staff was amazing check-in until the check everybody was so kind.

Staff need to remember to replenish supplies, like coffee and towels. Let people know in advance of road closures. Thankfully Fery and his team were there to help when the road the hotel is located on was closed for a unique festival up the street. My driver even called the hotel ahead of time, but was not informed of this closure. A little preparation would go a long way.

Close to center and close to cafes Toilet need to be replace, and staff need to be serve equal. As not all balinese who spending time with westener are driver. When we check in (book on my name) they keep asking where are the other guest, as i said those two stay in 1 room and i will stay my own. The staff (man) took us to the rooms it seem unfriendly to me as balinese, Please make sure your front office staff can be friendly to balinese either foreigner

great pool and garden and the room with pool-access is very big and nicely furnished breakfast was a bit small choicewise but ok

It was very unique in its jungle feeling. The pool area was very beautiful. It was its own oasis in the Ubud uptown area.

Lovely view from restaurant. Good food, pool nice Was a bit of a walk to Monkey forest rd but ok

This was such a beautiful surprise. We booked it, not knowing exactly how it would be, but we were delighted to experience the magic of the lush nature on the grounds and the beautiful design of the space. We had booked a more basic room and the water pressure was really low and challenging in both the shower and the sink, so they upgraded us to an even better room at the same initial price. This just goes to show how great the service and staff are here - especially Bayou! He was such an amazing staff member who helped us during our stay. We will definitely be back here again!

Reasonable option to stay in Ubud un comparison to the other pricy hotels and resorts The location was great and near the main street The bathroom was huge and clean The Balcony was big and nice forest view The TV had Youtube option, so no need to stuck to the available useless channels list The balcony door was not closing properly so many insects found their way to the room Breakfast was not that great, juices not fresh and food not very tasty I didnt try the pool it was many stairs down from my room Too dark during night time with many stairs up or down , be careful if you have kids or old people

Closed to the main drag but nice and quite Room are nice n big but needs some maintenance. There was a bird nest inside the bathroom behind the curtain! In the room where we stayed.
