Karri Forest Motel

A great example of an updated older style motel. The check in and out process was easy. Very clean. Bed was comfy. Enough kitchen equipment to heat up a meal, make breakfast and have a cuppa. The location is a few streets back from the main road which made for a quiet sleep.

Older style hotel but newly painted and clean. Appreciated decent lighting over table and bed. Nice outlook over gardens to the pool. Nothing.

Room was spacious. TV and air conditioning were modern and worked well. Internet speed was the slowest I've ever experienced. The fridge was missing the bottom door shelf. There was no shelf or anything to put things on in the shower recess. A few cobwebs in the bathroom.

We arrived before check in and it was ok to check in earlier. Good and quiet location The room sleeps 4 guests but only 2 chairs & small dining table.

the staff helped us arranged the cot which we required without any extra cost, appreciate it! the meal according to the google would be pretty good, however the facility was closed during our stay. We would love to give it a try next time when we are around. The very freiendly staff recommended a few other meal options around the hotel, and the food over there is very nice. Thanks! The room is nice, clean, comfortable and definitely worth the price we paid. Lovely yard, and lovely friendly dogs around. Clean room & comfortable

The property was filled with blooming flowers and shrubs. The rooms were tidy with generous toiletries, dishes and soap. Each room had sturdy outdoor chairs on a covered porch. Nothing

It was comfortable, clean and quiet which was great to relax. We have a tall van, driving around the property to our room was a little challenging as the trees need abit of a trim. Wasn’t too close to town, had to go down a big hill and back up to bed, but they are little things, overall the property was great.

The room is really clean, spacious and have everything we need. The layout and the material the building was built somehow makes I feel really cozy, warm and comfy. We can relax peacefully at night at the back yard facing the big shared lawn or take a swim in the pool. We also like the BBQ station which is highly equipped and really comfortable to have lunch/dinner there.

It was a nice room, clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice dinner, with a lovely warm open fire. No breakfast available. Could have had a bit more choice with the wine.

Everything went well. It was our 30th. wedding anniversary. The room was large and the bed was very clean and comfortable. Dinner on our celebration night was great. A couple of plumbing maintenance issues were noted and fixed promptly. Nothing.

Large rooms and the property was lovely. Beds were too soft. Restaurant wasn’t open every night and never for breakfast.

Loved everything about this motel. The staff were always available to help, even after hours and smiling! The room was spotless and large. The area was quiet and there were lovely gardens all around. Free laundry facilities and a top class restaurant for dinner. Food was delicious! We extended our stay it was so good! Would recommend this motel to anyone. Good value for money. Nothing to dislike.

This was a functional and clean old motel-style room. It was reasonably quiet and the bed was comfortable. We were only at the hotel overnight, so we didn't get to see the pool or gym. They served dinner but not breakfast. It's a decent walk to the main street in town, especially back up the hill to the hotel, so plan ahead.

I got upgraded to a lovely spacious room which was clean, comfortable and had all I needed for a one night stay. I didn't utilise the facilities within the grounds, such as the pool, gym, restaurant, laundry, but it all looked well presented in passing, with large lawn space in between groups of units as well. The hotel was great value for money and the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. It didn't really impact me, but the hotel is a decent uphill walk from the main road and restaurants/cafes. There is an onsite restaurant, but it seemed in a bit of a transitional phase - I had read about a Japanese chef and menu, which was no longer the case and there was confusion as to whether the restaurant would be open for breakfast or not.

The unit was amazing = the garden, carport attached, washing machine etc were all unexpected bonus. Beautifully presented and close to the sea and the town and also the tourist attractions. Would be more than happy to book again and highly recommend it. There was nothing we didn't like or want.
