Petra Santa Hotel Boutique

A hidden little slice of tropical heaven, not far from the city. Very quiet and secure. Nice pool area, with bar (bartender, Alejandro margaritas..!) but shopping you can walk to... Loved it.

Beautiful and calm, right next to Pereira, well trained staff and simple but delicious food! The Garden is spectacular. Nothing, maybe the temporary Internet issue could be mentioned but as it already says it, it was temporary and disconnecting is the right thing to do in this place.

Exceptional

It was a peaceful setting, relatively close to the airport and major roadways, yet seemingly a world away. The staff was excellent. A great place for a romantic getaway. Biting insects are endemic to the area, but the hotel had repellent on hand and other control devices for the room. Make sure you use them.

The old farm house is lovely. The rooms are somewhat crowded and bathrooms are small, therefore having the sink outside the bathroom works well. The location is my main complaint, it is too close to a major road, so you hear traffic anytime you are outside of your room. It takes away from the beauty of the large garden and makes laying by the pool less pleasant. Breakfast is fine, the restaurant/menu is just ok.

Gorgeous property, lovely facilities and room. Staff was great It’s far from good restaurants and taxis take forever to come. Food there is fine but limited if you are staying more than one night.

Our stay at Petra Santa was an absolute highlight of our trip. Originally, we had only booked one night, but after encountering issues with a previous reservation, we reached out to extend our stay—and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Kimberly, a truly exceptional host. Along with her sister, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their hospitality was unmatched—warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind. One of the standout aspects of our stay was breakfast. My husband can be quite particular about his morning meal, making special requests regarding how his toast was prepared and asking for specific fruits. Without hesitation, Kimberly and her sister graciously accommodated every request with a smile. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. Beyond the service, Petra Santa itself is a charming and beautiful boutique hotel. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the hospitality of these two sisters made our experience truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that offers comfort, exceptional service, and a personal touch, Petra Santa is it. We feel fortunate to have met Kimberly and her sister, and we highly recommend this wonderful gem to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent property, very friendly staff, definitely the place to stay in Pereira

Everything is gorgeous to the detail. And staff is super friendly! Food was def not 5 star hotel quality. But perhaps we had incredibly bad luck with the White Fish and the Baby Beef. Maybe it was an off day ? Could be. But it did let us down deeply. Breakfast on the other hand was yummy! Also it’s really close to the highway; so its beautiful grounds don’t have a real nature immersive experience as one would expect.

Very cozy place, tasty food and breakfast. Super nice pool area Not too much privacy, as all of the rooms have wooden doors which have small « gaps » when you close them. And all of the doors lead to main reception room where the manager sits all the day. So when we were staying in the room we could hear everyone walking or talking at the reception. And I believe people at the reception could hear as as well :) also the location is wrong on the booking and it was really challenging to find the hotel

The hotel is very nice and it is well curated, the staff is friendly and very keen to help and ensure your stay is the best possible. The pool area is relaxing and very nice. Food is tasty and there's a lot of variety. Sometimes the view is not the expected since the hotel is not in the middle of a forest as you imagine from pictures and you can see some buildings from the gardens and facilities of the hotel, but they are not a burden.
