Enjoyed a nice relaxing stay in the Albert Hotel in excellent big room with fridge to store food and drinks.I missed the previously excellent cooked Scottish breakfast but once you get round that, sandwiches ,fresh fruit , yoghurt, cheese and biscuits all there in fridge with cereal and milk.Superb location, Peterhead football ground very handy one direction ,town centre and bus station 200 yards the other direction.Good and helpful staff and ideal. The lack of a cooked breakfast was still a huge disappointment. Can remember superb breakfasts at Albert Hotel front dining room years gone by Would have got 10 out of 10 with traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. The clue is in the name,Bed and BREAKFAST ??!! Still good to stay and enjoy Peterhead again..

It was quaint, charming. Just what I expected from a small hotel in a small town Scotland. We loved it! From the details of the china displayed all around, to the boxed breakfast in the fridge , right down to the coal burning fire place in the dinning room and the bar. The staff was exceptionally friendly all around. They even had the chef accommodating my gluten free needs so I could have Peterhead fish and chips! We visited family in the little bar/pub area, it was comfortable and enjoyable. It was walking distance from the bus station, which was really helpful. There was a brewery near by that had gluten free beer and wonderful people to meet. It was a nice older property but very clean and well kept. Would absolutely recommend it! No I can’t find anything to say that I didn’t like.

Good central position in town Cold. poor shower and couldn’t get t v to work

Staff very pleasant . Good sized room The room is in desperate need of an update. The blind didn't fit the window, was too short. The towel rail in toilet was hanging off, lots of cracked tiles in shower. Really creaking floorboards. Just old fashioned and done.

Perfect location on Queens Street. Most places of interest were within walking distance. Plenty eateries near by. Hotel had a restaurant if required. Breakfast was left in the fridge the day before. Although the room was of a good size, the four poster bed seemed to swallow up a lot of the space. It also could have been done with at new mattress, rolled into the middle of the bed. The noise from the Station Pub next door at night, some rather loud rowdy people, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel.

It felt very homely. Staff was very friendly. It is a victorian building and I think the decor suits the building. It may not suit everyone's taste but I loved it One problem was the toilet was very temperamental to flush

We had 3 staff staying here for one night and they were disgusted by the condition of the hotel. One room had large visible water damage and mould on the walls and the guest had to be moved to another room. One guest sat on the bed which collapsed and he had to fixt it. They all complained about the cleanliness of the hotel. We will not be back The hotel was in a poor state, visible wet walls and mould. It was not clean and the furniture of very low quality
