The price of the hotel was reasonable. The rooms need updating. Our deadbolt would not lock. Needed to be adjusted. The ironing board cover was old needed to be washed. I could not use the hair dryer. Exposed wires were showing. Water stains on faucets and shower faucets. Tub needed a better cleaning. The shower curtain was too short. The complimentary breakfast was not very good. The muffins were the only food I ate. My husband and I threw our breakfast out. Just needs a lot of TLC.

Cons: the internet is a joke. Couldn't watch anything because the internet was so bad. Laptop couldn't even load a page. We ended up using a Hotspot which cost me money for something I thought would be provided since the hotel said it had wifi. Also heard folks in the dining area complaining about it too, so not just our room. Room was not clean. Food garbage on the floor from the last guests. Trash under the bed. The shower curtain smelled awful. There were ants swarming a peice of popcorn that we had dropped within about 10 minutes. So gross. The rooms are non smoking but the outside walkway is not. Needed to walk through the smoke to get to our room. Not a terrible thing, just annoying. Most places have designated areas now right? Anyway, won't go there again.

Our bathtub / shower was broken so you can only take a shower. The bathtub was dirty. There was what looked like dried blood on the ironing board which hung on the bathroom wall. When we turned on the water the pipes rattled. The tv was always loading so you can't watch anything. The breakfast was tasteless. I will not go back to this hotel.

Great hotel for a quick weekend stay.

It was good

Shower was DISGUSTING. Did not use. Bed was probably 20 years old and I need a chiropractor visit. Sooooo overpriced. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was the lovely girl at the front desk.

Close to the ball park. The first 2 rooms I tried smelled like mold and mildew. 3rd room was better but still not great.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean on the surface (don’t look under the beds). Breakfast was edible. The hotel is tired and needs a refurbishment. For the price this is not worth it.

I had to go up to Petoskey for a friends funeral so basically needed a room so I didn’t have to drive back home same day. Room worked well for that. Didn’t really use anything other than that. Breakfast was adequate in the morning. Everyone was very cordial and helpful.

Very good

Breakfast was good. Bathroom had not been cleaned well. Found hair left on toilet and on floor. Door to the toilet rubbed the floor so it was not able to open all the way. No stopper in the sink to fill it with water to wash face and teeth. No clothes hangers in room to hang clothes on.

Great staff and great breakfast

They did offer to help us move our things to room 114, but we didn't really need that. 114 was a better room; everything worked well. 2. Your parking slots under the shelter are too narrow for minivans if the other two cars are NOT diligent about keeping their car within the lines; many folks didn't. I had to try 4 different slots before finally parking on the west side of the lot away from the shelter. 3. Our GPS routed us toward the hotel entrance on Anderson Road when we arrived. That turned out to be a problem as we never saw any signage indicating the two buildings were actually Baymont by Wyndham Petosky. We did finally figure it out, but it took some time. Plus, your sign on 131 is pretty low key, even though we knew by then what we were looking for.

So there was a large crack in the middle separating me and my husband. LOL Besides that the room was clean along with the property.

I appreciate how great the staff was, but the smell and excessive moisture in the room made it difficult to feel comfortable. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as the excellent staff deserves to have the rooms match the quality of their service.

Stayed 1 night and was ok along with breakfast and they serve chili all day which is delicious and different. Needed someplace to sleep and it worked fine.
