Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown by IHG

Great location central to everything! Parked the car in the garage on property for $44/day and were able to walk to every Philly landmark. Took the subway steps away from the hotel to the show at xfinity arena. Staff was great and breakfast was wonderful! We’ll certainly stay here again

Superb

Not very clean. Very noisy from Walnut Street traffic and loud music all night long. Not ideal for a family with young kids.

Hotel outdoor pool was a saviour in 90+ degree heat in July. Rooms were basic, but very clean and bed were extremely comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and was adjustable. Hot buffet breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start to start the day. Only very minor negative, we had put in a request for 2 other couples to have rooms near ours- we were the first people to check-in right at 3 pm and were told that this request couldn't be accommodated and were placed on 3 separate floors. Not a game changer- but feel that since we received a very good rate through Expedia, we were just placed randomly throughout the hotel. All said, for the price, we would still make this our #1 choice for staying in Philadelphia.

The shower water pressure was really low and not what I am used to which made my stay terrible…also very difficult to find milk…

Parking was fairly challenging especially if you have a bigger car

better service and quality than expected for the price. Even better, the noise from the streets were not a disturbance. The staff was extremely kind and friendly.

Excellent staff, super helpful and friendly. The breakfast options were great and the staff working at the breakfast area deserve a lot of recognition for their patience and professionalism, especially the older gentleman that was there most mornings (apologies for not getting his name). The room was comfy and the housekeeping staff was also very helpful. We loved the pool and spent hours there. Will definitely be back.

It was clean and comfortable, the local was amazing, very friendly staff. It would have been perfect for us — if it was not for the breakfast. None of us was able to eat the breakfast. Food was fresh, but tasted remarkably dull and, in some cases, even bad. The creamer at the coffee station long expired and turned into a sweet foggy syrup.

Staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help with whatever was needed. Always a smile. Place is basic but clean and if you’re staying for a few days to site see, it’s just enough

The staff check-in and leaving were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. They offered a variety of ways for communication including text which I liked but you could opt out. The breakfast is better than average. Just remember they do not offer parking included. The hotel was pretty convenient for some of the the places we were going to sightsee. Plenty of food options around

They gave us the room by the pool as we requested and it was a very clean pool. The staff were all pleasant aside from an annoyed maid but that was not terrible The bed was a bit too firm. We had trouble sleeping That isn't the worst. The bathroom was dirty
