Great location across from Reading Terminal Market, Convention Center, Jefferson Station (to/from airport) and all major public transit. Trader Joe’s 3 blocks away—handy as there’s a nice little kitchenette en suite. I availed myself of the hotel gym and washer/dryer. In 10 days I made 1 noise complaint about a nearby room which was quickly quelled. Of course if you’re facing the street/market there’s daytime urban sounds but quiets down at night. Lots of restaurants around, including Chinatown. Would’ve liked a tub but it’s not a dealbreaker. No complaints.

My family and I have traveled a great deal in the past few years and we always choose to stay at a Home 2 Suites. It has breakfast in the morning so one meal I don’t have to think about. It has the option to cook in your room with an almost full size refrigerator. Plus in the previous ones we have stayed on the beds were mostly comfortable, even the pull out couch bed. However, out generally good experience ended at this Home 2 Suites in Philadelphia. The beds are so rock

Our room and check in were amazing. Breakfast had great options but we got down right at the very end.

We had a wonderful experience at Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Convention Center. When my daughter was unwell, the staff went above and beyond to help us. They kindly provided her with food and even offered to take her to a nearby CVS to help us get what she needed. Their genuine care, kindness and willingness to assist meant a great deal to us, especially as we were away from home. Truly exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended.

The room was great! AC was nice and cool. The fridge kept our things nice and cold. We had a suite with 2 queen beds. The bathroom shower door was not working properly, no shower gel in the dispenser and there was some gunk built up in the track of the shower doors and around the edge of the shower walls. Not the end of the world but enough that I mentioned it to a staff member at the front desk. I wish I could remember her name but she was working 8/20/26 and was handling a busy lobby. She was alone and doing a great job. Anyway she ended up giving us a discount on our room even after I assured her it wasn’t necessary. (just wanted to give them a heads up is all bc hospitality is tough enough as it is) We stayed at another hotel in Philly last month and my husband says he would book here again instead. The beds were more comfy.

The minute we arrived Lily was so welcomIng & helpful at the front desk... The breakfast was amazing surpassed expectations I would definitely stay there again

The hotel room was good, a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for food, being right across the street from the food market. Was easy to get around to do things in Philly as well. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

Pool closed, breakfast was different no waffle maker no yogurt. And no hot chocolate went with my 10yo and every thing he expected was not there. It was my birthday and it did not meet up to other stays I had there.

Everything you would want - quality, location, clean
-
The breakfast was super delicious, the people were friendly and helped us check in super easily. 10/10 experience!
-
The hotel is located near by the Reading Terminal Market and Chinatown. It is very convenient for eating, shopping and going to tourism places by the walking distance. The only issue was the room phone didn’t work.
-
Clean and easy to stay for a family with a toddler.

Good service good location, good breakfasts

Budget friendly for families over 5. Downsides are breakfast buffet is not as eye pleasing as the Hilton penns landing where I've stayed before. Seems almost like a soup line. Breakfast buffet gets very busy and options are limited almost reminding me like hospital food. Front desk is friendly but looks slightly apprehensive. Parking is not attached and we were using the shared garage with reading terminal market. Huge pro is CVS is a 5 min walk for essentials and reading terminal market is right across the street if you need breakfast lunch or dinner. Doordash options are everywhere obviously. Hotel doesnt make the beds they only take oit trash and replace towels. No dinner hotel options. I would say get this hotel if its a budget thing and you're gonna be here for a short stay. Definitely need to upgrade a few things here.

Rooms are super outdated and dirty. The shower was so fast and you couldn't even slow it down. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. I asked for hot water for my baby and was told they can't help and don't even have a thermos. Very disappointing breakfast. Won't be coming back here.

Stayed with the family for three nights, perfectly fine stay for what it was. It's got a great location and is clean and in one piece.

Everything was very good with the exception of the alternating housekeeping days. For the cost the housekeeping should be daily.
