We were there on a busy weekend but regardless it was just not worth the price.
-
Customer service was exceptional. Thank you Xavier on reception and Michelle at breakfast.

The location was perfect !

Very nice hotel. I was a bit annoyed that there is a mandatory $30 fee which in turn gives you a $30 credit to buy things at the hotel - seems like they are just looking for more ways to add extra charges. Otherwise great place to stay right near Redding market.

It was a great experience!

Great place and great amenities!

Gorgeous architecture, clean lobby, elevators and rooms. Friendly staff and valets. Comfy beds with layers of linens. Temperature control was excellent within the room. Our TV didn’t work (not that we needed it to but it would have been useful to keep the kids busy while packing or getting ready) nor did the safety box. Bathroom was compact with roomy shower with rainwater style shower head or handheld shower unit. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and makeup wipes were provided. The hotel is very conveniently located to explore sightseeing area within Philadelphia. Would stay here again.

Very helpful front desk

So clean and comfortable. $30 credit towards the hotel restaurant was super convenient! Will stay here again for sure

Walkable to everywhere

Everything was great but the sidewalks outside adjacent to the property. They were disgustingly dirty with bird feces, urine and trash. Smelled bad right outside the door. They should be washing the sidewalks around the building.
-
The location and the charming character of old building. Not friendly and helpful staffs. Over price compare to what you get. Bad view even we paid and requested for high floor with nice view 3 months earlier than our 2 nights stay stay.

I especially want to recognize one of the staff members, Betzabeth. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had everything we needed, and her genuine warmth and positive attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Betzabeth and the entire staff for making our stay so memorable. It was our first time in Philadelphia and we would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend the Notary Hotel!

Only complaint would be needing thicker pillows. We got more from the front desk but be ready if you have multiple travelers.
-
The coffee station and the restaurant selection of food were minimal and the coffee was basically like drinking colored water. $ 5.00 for one bagel with nothing on it and anytime we went to get one they never had one . Other than that the stay was great.
