Lokal Hotel Fishtown

It is a nice place, very clean and cute! Nice kitchen and bathroom. Only the ac setting was too low when we arrive, it is 64degree, we felt quite cold. Subway is a bit too noisy. May improved with some sound insulation.

That said, the room itself was terrific: large and clean with ample kitchen furnishings. There was a problem with the bathroom, but I called the number supplied and got assistance very quickly. My only real issue was the very loud noise every few minutes from the train on the street.

SO much better than staying in a small hotel room, the studio was spacious, well appointed and pretty too. Can’t beat the location when staying in Fishtown, with choices galore of restaurants and bars. Very responsive too with any service requests. It was nice and easy to leave and then retrieve our luggage after check out. Will definitely be back!

This is my fave place to stay in Fishtown.

Location was good. There is no staff. I went into hotel with code . The room was spacious and clean. There is no lobby so I would not know who to contact if I had an issue. I did not have any issues so there was no need. It is 10 minutes walk from the subway. no complaints.

Good location, clean room, modern decor None

It felt more like a residence than a hotel room. Very roomy, accommodating, & the design aesthetic was on point. A bathroom rug, a wave machine that worked (it would have helped with the A/C drone & train noise, and an ironing board that opened.

Place was great. Location was great. Made us feel like we live in the city.

All was good apart from being very, very close to elevated train track.

Parking is an issue. The lots they recommend either do not allow overnight parking or we’re full when we stayed.

That’s literally the best place I’ve ever stayed at! Everything starting with the way it looks and ending with the details, was exceptional! Definitely coming back even for a small getaway in Philly and staying here! The only one thing, which was disturbing - is the noise from the trains.

Exceptional

Well designed space, spacious, good mattresses Right next to train which caused sound and vibration while sleeping. Not enough trash cans (none in any of the bedrooms), and several outlets were not working.

My entry code for the front gate did not work, so I was locked out in freezing cold temps. I waited on hold for 15 minutes for the issue to be resolved. I didn't make a huge issue out of it. Then I asked for a late checkout and they said it wold cost me $50. I mentioned the entry code incident, hoping they might offer to waive the fee. Their counter? $30. No, thanks, Won't be returning.
